| I don't remember the king doing this stuff in the TV series. Instead of it just being because Griffith "defiled" his daughter, it's because he "stole" his daughter from him in this version. Suffice to say that this is much deeper and darker than I originally thought. And, then you have Casca and the rest in mortal peril. I still can't get over how much Guts leaving the band ruined them. A sort of snowball effect. |
