| I started reading Berserk with zero expectations. Well, I guess I expected a gritty, dark-fantasy setting and ultra violence. I definitely did not expect the fantastic character development, engaging political intrigue, or well written romance, among many other things. Even the occasional specs of humor are great. Every 3 volumes I order are quickly followed by 3 more. However, the way these past few chapters have been going, and especially with Griffith's behavior this chapter, I'm actually apprehensive about continuing on. I think I'm going to stop reading right now, and make a few assumptions: They succeed in rescuing Griffith. Griffith and Guts reconcile. Guts and Casca get married and have lots of little swordsmen-babies. The End. Yeah. I like that. |

| After evaluating all the kinds of people he met and noticing that Guts is the only different one among them, it broke my heart when his mangled body was shown in the dark. Looks up to the chosen one, relays a message from the Great Ones, part of the kin, even the faces... Bloodborne just straight up did a Berserk cameo with the messengers lmao Awesomeee~ Seeing them act all lovey dovey was cute and those Pippin moments xD Casca still feels the aftershocks from the rough naughty session she had with him oh my. And this is the chapter where Guts retires too lmao |

| I quite liked this chapter. First the Griffith part... And then the Wyndham infiltration team. Some funny parts, and some more serious, but I loved it. |
| Griffith sees some slug apparition things. Thats not good! The rescue mission proceeds, Good Luck Guts and crew. |

| I love that for such a dark and brutal story the characters still have amazing personalities and act like real people, especially Casca and Guts, absolutely love them |
