What did I think about it overall? I loved it.

Sure there were some flaws, but I can forgive them seeing as how it all just fit together for me.

Of course I'm going to have to get the visual novel from my friends as soon as I go back to my uni... they'll never let me live this out (finally playing the visual novel after half a year of their nagging). -.-

Overall it gets a 9/10 from me. And Saber is <3

I found the pacing to be terrible; it pretty much ruined the show for me.

I agree that the pacing wasn't that great, but I still loved the show. Lots of loose ends weren't tied, because frankly, it's an anime based off a visual novel. There's a lot of info in the VNs, but they just put in the main stuff for the anime.

All in all, loved it. Cryable ending because I lurve Saber. Got me looking into it, and got me to play my first VN. 9/10

good sound, good art, ok character, crappy story. Show just got worse as it went on. Once again I find myself watching an overrated yet enjoyable anime. Final verdict is. 5, no 6, no 5, no 6, I give up, I cant decide.

I gave it a 7, because I thought it was enjoyable overall. I could understand maybe rating it an 8, but I really don't think it deserves anything higher. Character development, plot holes, pacing, those are all very huge things that affect an anime. And I found problems with all of them.

I do have to say that the ending surprised me, I expected a highly cliche end. So kudos for not doing that.

Liked the anime pretty mutch. But It nevery ever made me think that this was a geart anime it was good but i felt they could of done a hell of a lot more with the story. Especialy Archer he ruled!

It's too bad they had to cut out so many things from the anime. I studied around wikipedia a bit about FSN, where I learned there was much to be had. I loved the ending, though the anime itself was just 'alright'.

The ending was great. You can't say anything about it.

No Plun you are wrong.The anime was great and you cant say anything about it in overall.Animation was great sound as well.Characters were well developed and so was the story.I rewatched FSN at least 5 times and played both routes on visual novel.Hmm excuse me but what do u mean no story?Like naruto Clannad lucky star Bleach or any other of the well know animes have "story".You cant except eveything be like DN and GC and surprize you.Unlike the other fighting animes main characters DIED as well and you couldnt predict the ending(tell me that any1 here believed that Saber wil actualy die... Same goes with Archer.The only thing that i can agree on is that VN is better.And excuse me mister Metroid_ex but from your perspective ALL animes are overrated.You scored Deathnore with 6 for example.How canyou rate an anime with such a good and uncommon story+ great animation and sound with 6?I might seem a little provoking but plaze dont get offended im just having a discussion so no hard feelings plz :)

I quite agree also disappointed since i heard a lot of good things about this one and it was slightly below average for me

Great anime, Absolutely shit ending

i found the whole thing rather unsatisfying but i'll give it a 6 instead of a 5 for that "people die if they are killed" line

waste of time overall

they're not ordinary "people" like what you think, and they didn't got killed that's why they're still alive, when you say killed next to that is being dead =), badly wounded is different.

SABER WTF <3 and is cool, I like her as the same level as C.C. and Horo from spice and wolf =)

Rin Tohsaka is cute either

A beutiful anime, with a beutiful ending.
Loved it.
I rate a 8/10 for the overall series, very close to a 9 at that.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU !!!! EYAAAAA! I so so so so hate endings like this, why can't there be a happy ending?

There were many flaws (pacing, gaps in story, dodgy exposition) but overall it was fairly enjoyable. I was expecting less from an anime based on the kind of visual novel it was. I'll give it a 7 (which is good for me), although it might go down as time passes by. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I really liked this story overall, but the ending is what really held me back from rating this a 9, absolutely HATED the ending. The "ok, we worked up all this romance just to say peace out at the end" crap.

Other people might have enjoyed the emo ending but I really think that with all the shit the main characters went through, they should deserve a happily ever after together.

I shall shed a tear for Saber-chan. Very good series, much better than what I expected even though I knew the final twist.

The first time I watched through the anime and viewed the ending I was less mad and a lot more sad. It felt as if someone had ripped a whole through my young, adolescent heart (excuse me for the melodramatics >.>). But after another dozen more views the ending grew on me, and I have come to the conclusion that no other ending could have fit more perfectly than this one.

Happy endings may be more satisfying but the sad ones are so much more epic. 9/10 :]
