According to the bonus track within the character song CD bundled with the ninth volume, a new anime of Minami-ke was announced. The details of the anime will be revealed later. Minami-ke CD said: Kana: Hey, Chiaki and Haruka, I have a very good news. Do you wanna know it? Oh, well shouldn't I tell it? Chiaki: What a nuisance. Kana: If you really wanna know it, then …. Haruka: By the way, Chiaki, I heard Minami-ke will be animated again. Chiaki: Yeah, I heard that, too. Congratulations, Haruka nee sama. Haruka: Thanks. Congrats to Chiaki, too. Let's do our best together. Chiaki: Yes, we sisters can join forces. Kana: Hey, why did you disclose that? That's what I was supposed to announce! Haruka: Oops, sorry. Chiaki: You put on airs too much, idiot. Uchida: We did OVA last time. I hope it'll be a TV anime this time. I was planning to see the anime sometime anyway. I think it will be pretty good, so a second season is not bad news.
