| Great episode with many things happening, with the main thing being the slow rise from the grave from mediocre rankings with TRAP as it looks to establish itself as a long stay in the Jump magazine..... until Mashiro collapsed at the end of the episode at least. He looked really drained the entire episode and paled out like a ghost at the end before he passed out, but the guy's had to overwork pretty badly to meet deadlines. He's really become a mangaka when he's involved in incidents like that, and that body stress was piling up on him before the end. This could be really bad for not only the manga since it could easily be canceled or lose popularity massively with a hiatus since it's not fully established itself yet with the readers like a One Piece (where a hiatus won't affect the rankings worry there), but also to Mashiro himself given how his uncle died from overworking himself and potentially jeopardize his manga career with his family or at least until he's finished high school. Same applies to Takagi as well. At least if there was one positive thing for them, is that they got to see Miho Azuki take further steps into establishing herself as a proper voice actress as she featured in one of the supporting roles of an episode of SKET Dance. I love SKET Dance and I remember the episode where Saori Hayami took on a special role for the episode, so it was cool seeing how Miho Azuki was a part of the show, not Saori Hayami. Cool collaboration that really enhances the anime experience of Bakuman I'd say to compete on level terms with the manga. |

| mashiro's "weakness" were built well from the start of the episode where he's commenting on his pants being too released. the tense was fine as well, they'r "luck" is keeping up and down, but they doesn't go lower for double digits, and just when they got to print their first volume mashiro collapsed. kinda pretty excepted for this to happen since S1 episode where mashiro were hard working and almost fall in front of hattori, now with the commitment and tense to make chapter every week it's double effect. he should really care more for his health. i really like this part in the anime, but not because of mashiro. LOL fukuda and his assistant. nakai helping aoki and aoki trusting him was great too. |
