Online because getting a hold of printed manga is a pain in the ass and expensive.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

I prefer the actual manga wen I can. I can read it wherever I want versus being limited to my comp (or looking at tiny pictures on my phone). But I am old fashioned. I prefer an actual book to my kindle even.

Yeah, definately the real book for me. Reading manga online just takes away all the specialness/amazingness. I just end up focusing more on the computer than the actual manga. Also, with a real book, I can bring it anywhere, and read it while eating and stuff...

It's much better when i'm reading physically obviously...but the stores at my area sell nothing but crappy superhero comics that cannot compare to manga..Meh...i guess reading online ain't so bad, besides, it's free. In extreme situations, i have to buy manga from online stores. Ultimately, reading using a book is much better than online!

I am about half and half. Even more so if there is a manga I read online and thoroughly enjoy it I will also buy it and re-read it in published paper format.

I prefer online but if i can find it in a store nearby or at a library I'll get it but they usually only have horrible mangas, or they have like 1 volume and reading it online is cheaper, and you have a wider variety of mangas.

Yup, same here. I'd rather read the real thing where I can feel it, smell it and basically take it anywhere with me. :))

@ the people who say they cant get their hands on manga: Thats just a really cheap excuse... you can always buy them online.

amazon would be the best example.

Physical. I like supporting this industry. Not only that, physical is just better quality, at least the high quality releases, and I love the feeling.

Physical also keeps me more focused.

I used to only read manga if I had the actual one in my hand. Then I got annoyed having to wait for it to come from the library so I forced myself to start reading it online. Now I like it better than having an actual manga.

I prefer download them cause I can re-read it whenever without internet. If there is no download link then I will read it online. For physical books, I cannot afford to buy many of them because it's expensive.

I prefer to have the actual book in my hands, but unfortunately with manga/LN's it's untelling if it'll ever even get licensed so I read it online and if I enjoy it, I buy the physical copy if it has one in my language.

Almost every manga can be found online, so it's online for me. But if I see a physical copy of a manga I like, consider it sold.

I've never read a physical manga, but I ordered the Nausicaa boxset yesterday. I wanted a higher quality copy than the downloads that I read six years ago, and it wasn't too expensive. I haven't read any manga in a long time. Physical copies are probably preferable, but it's more a question of affordability to me.

I love reading physical copies of my favorite manga, but because I'm so cheap and broke, I usually go online to read manga or I don't read it at all.

Actual manga books is the best. I love the feeling and smell of the books and it's nice to know, my collection is growing.
