ufotable, this animation is amazing. Fate/Zero very clearly had a bit of money behind it. I wonder if Irisviel knows she's a homunculus? Can't imagine she does. |

Can't imagine she does. i think she already mentioned something like that, saying she was "being used for the grail" so she might know to some effect. |

Why are Lancers always ladies men (or try to be at least). Check out my Seasonal rankings and my Blog where I Rank the series airing in summer 2012 and just talk about the series in general. |

One of the things Cuchulainn laments is that he has bad luck with the women that matter (his teacher, Bazett, etc). And then there is Vlad Lancer who speaks of his clown master as his wife. |

It's interesting to say the least. But it's also very slow moving, and to be honest, boring to an extent. Too much talking and explaining. It does have its own unique elements that it brings to the generic plot. For instance, bringing warriors from different parts of time to fight one another. That's pretty good. But the generic part is the whole "a race/battle/war to get a holy object to grant a wish". None of the characters really "jump" out at me yet. Saber is by far the most interesting, but that's because she's the MC. I think there will be more development as it goes on. However, it's already episode 4 and only a select few have actually gotten some decent exposure. Once again, this is moving a little too slow. Right now I'd give it a 6.5 to 7/10. Saber isn't the main character, Emiya Kiritsugu is. And this series is full of interesting characters besides Saber, I can guarantee you that. Man are you going to be surprised later on. And lol @ Saber being the most interesting...you'll eat those words when Modified by BloodRequiem, 08-03-12, 10:25 PM As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all. |

Pretty, but boring fight. Animation: Good Coreography: Meh Mind-f**ks: Meh And we get it, you're both honored. No need to say it 4 times..per person. "Oh i'm going all out" 3 minutes later "okay now i'll fight with all my power" 3/5 ![]() |

They have excellent personalities. I like how they managed the character development here. And the visuals are stunning. I can't bash them for taking some episodes before it moves on, as this allowed to emphasize the characters. Mindless boring characters I hate that, but here it's very well done, I can sympathize with any character. 5/5 ![]() ![]() |

Well they are pretty funny to observe (caster team), Tohsaka, Tokiomi is pretty interesting to watch too, and Zouken is just plain evil. Each character has a role to play and does it well. ![]() ![]() |

I agree.Caster Team,Zouken and Tokiomi perfectly fill their role.To be hated by the viewers. As for who is the most interesting of them. Caster team:take out their views on despair and religion and they have nothing.Truth be told, even though they are participants in the war their only role is to be Tokiomi: Makes Emiya Shirou's plans in FSN seem successful. And Kayneth and even Sola are more interesting. Zouken:The only one who is both successful and has a real role even if he isnt shown. |
