Lame-est shit I've ever heard from the anime industry. Dont get me wrong. I love Japan and its cultural products. But the concept of AKB48 and whatever it is associated with totally turns me off.   |

And just when I'm going to get out of anime/manga/j-games, and back into Japanese music, they have to go and do this. Well, congratulations, Idol-fans, that's pretty awesome. Not crazy. |

ITT: People confusing what is good with what is profitable. There's no doubt it'll sell. Whether or not it's anything of quality is the highly debatable part.  |

What?! before it was manga about AKB girls, then now it's anime about them?! AKB girls are stealing the shows even though most of them are not really good. |

lol, @ haters here. Well, being the AKB48 fan that I am now, I can say that I am really looking forward to this. (Which reminds me that I need to buy the new game that came out -____-) If Yukirin gets a VA role in this......this is going straight into my favorites even before it airs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really can't wait to see how this will turn out, considering how AKB already have a Legion of fans in Japan. What the fuck happened to the original faces of AKB48? Why can't they just base the original character designs on the real AKB48? They instead went with Precure knockoffs.  Of course this will sell, but I don't know if the true fans of AKB48 will appreciate how their idols will look like in this series. |
