guyklc said: English was fun. Surprisingly, their English is pretty good (although there were spelling mistakes, but the pronunciation is definitely at least decent for non-native speakers) Yea, that English was so damned good - it had be shocked. I didn't think any Japanese voice actor can pull off English well. |

Roflol at the english part of the episode. That was brilliant. If you take anything on the internet seriously, you're doing it wrong. - Ignorance is not bliss; ignorance is getting laughed at by those of higher intelligence than you. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Lovely episode, the first part with the English puns was the best. Tickling part and mini Ika was very unique. From Lemon to Lennon, how brilliant is that? xD Modified by 1lau, 10-31-11, 12:00 PM |

Eiko's english never cease to amaze me. After all, she's the one who teach me to say "How menu please?" when taking an order from a foreigner. Chizuru proves to be the "real alien", once again. So far we only know that her weak spot is her worry about her weight. |

Giant on the loose LOL When did we last saw Ika in chibi form?? Lol Beach Lenon |

I usually get really irritated when seiyu start talking in English, but Cindy was surprisingly good and the rest of them were okay too. Chizuru is scary, mini-Ika is lovely 4/5. |

Jammymanrock said: I'm surprised Ika doesn't know what ticking is as hasn't she tickled people with her tentacles before? The first time she did it was when she was borrowing the lifeguard tower and proclaiming herself queen. That chapter of the manga takes place just a few chapters ahead of the one the second part of this episode is from, so it's a minor adaptation plot hole. Are you a fan of Magical Girls? Best episode so far. Including the pretty little adventure of Black Tiger. Every part was really good. |

Mormegil said: The first segment was so awkward, Engrish and all. Cindy's voice actor sounded like she stepped right out of the Bible Black dub. This. Cindy's VA for the English parts was pretty bad, it made that part kinda painful to watch (not to mention the countless number of puns), but the rest was pretty funny. himjl said: You people are all either very dense or non-native English speakers. In fact, even someone without ANY knowledge of English what-so-ever should be able to realize that was NOT Cindy's seiyuu speaking English. The voices sound completely different and you can even hear irregularitys in the audio indicating that the English lines probably weren't recorded in a professional studio. I'm guessing they just got some American girl to read a few lines over the telephone and then spliced them in. Lol yeah thank you, I was wondering why no one else picked up on that. An American acting amateur at that...Cindy's lines were like late 90's english dub quality awkwardness. One of the big reason's I don't like watching dubs today is because I always expect the drama and energy that goes into the Japanese voice acting. I always wonder if I would receive dubs differently if the voice actors focused on imitating the delivery of the seiyuu. I think I've only really seen that once, and that was Vash (and only Vash) in Trigun, and I loved it. But I suspect voice actors would consider that approach hindering and unfulfilling.
