David Stern = Vince McMahon

While I wasn't a big fan, I thought the Cavs should have taken a shot at Barnes with MKG gone.

Welp, things are certainly getting interesting now. D Will is staying with the Nets, which more than likely means Howard will be going somewhere else, barring some crazy trade. I'm honestly shocked he didn't go to Dallas. I guess he wanted to be part of something "new" with Brooklyn, given that they had just acquired Johnson and resigned Wallace. Johnson is over rated as fuck though, and I really don't see this line up winning any championships as of right now.

In other news, Jason Terry might be going from Dallas to Boston, which is a BIG move imo. Terry feels like a great fit for Boston, and I'm really liking how their team is shaping out for next year to make a run for it. It's also interesting to note that Lin is going to visit the Rockets, which could mean that Lowry is indeed going to be traded soon. Poor Houston... we had Lin and let him slip away. It's a wonder if he will live up to last season hype though.

Johnson to Brooklyn was a good trade for the Nets, and with D Will accepting, the Atlantic Division just got a whole lot more interesting.

BC sends an offersheet for Fields, would be a good pick up for the Raptors if the Knicks dont match. Now we just need to lure Nash here and we should hopefully make a playoff birth.

Better pray Nash makes Bargnani not terrible otherwise that isn't happening. And if they keep Calderon, that might be the worst defensive backcourt in NBA history.

What the FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK are the Rockets doing. The draft picks alone were ridiculous, and now they blow an ass ton of money on Asik and Lin!? Asik averaged under 5 minutes a game last season, and Lin only played 1/4 of an already shortened season! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

That was my question when I saw the Rockets' offer to Asik. I'd like for him to stay in Chicago, but to match that offer for a backup center is asking a lot from the Bulls' front office. What are they hoping to get from him down there at that price?

Yeah Houston is overreacting to last year's Linsanity... was surprised today seeing their offer to him being so high. No idea on Asik, I dont know what he's done to deserve high offers.

Nash to the Lakers is nice for Bynum, no more excuses for him.

Win the NBA Title one year, lose just about every player on your team the next.
It's official. Guren no Yumiya is the Japanese version of Guile's theme.

I think you're missing a year in between >.> but yes this has been a very depressing off season for the Mavericks. Losing Kidd is no big deal, but I would think Terry was somewhat unexpected. They haven't been able to sign ANYONE yet, and instead of acquiring D. Will or Howard, they are now looking at players like Sessions.

What is there to say? I'm more interested in if Grant Hill can't stay whole after leaving Phoenix for LA.

It's a big move, but it's one of those WIN IT NOW OR NEVER things for the next 2 years with the Lakers. Kobe probably has 2 elite years left in him maximum, and Nash is 39, so eventually there will be a breaking point. That being said, Nash provides Bynum with "in-the-lane" passing that he's never had before. I'm more interested in it from that perspective than I am from a Nash-Kobe perspective. Kobe has never been the best catch and shoot guy, so we'll see.

To be honest, I'm actually interested in the Timberwolves (what the fuck did I just say).. They just acquired Brandon Roy. I think it's a really slim chance he can play at the level he used to before the multiple knee issues, but if he does, I think this team can make a playoff run. Kevin Love is the fucking man, and with Rubio healthy next year it will be interesting. They have some key pieces that could at least allow them to make the 2nd round of the playoffs if they play their cards right. Would be huge for the franchise.

Yeah Nash will be good for Bynum ... espn needs to stop with the Howard to Lakers possibilities. Why give away Bynum NOW? Don't know why Nash and the Lakers made it a sign and trade to give away 4 future draft picks though. In the end they are still behind the Spurs and Thunder.

Air Bud MIP right...RIGHT? This makes me wonder if the BRoy retirement was a favor to Portland to free them from that contract. Really convenient how that worked out. As a fan though, I hope he's healthy. He was fun to watch. They have a ton riding on health though. I'm also curious what their plans are for Derrick Williams. He doesn't fit although they did free up a spot now that Beasley is gone. Should be interesting.

Heat get Ray Allen (unless the owner's twitter was hacked). I would have preferred a big man, say Camby, but I can't blame them for going after him. Our 3 point shooting never showed up till the finals, and this should space the floor even more for James and Wade.

It's going to be a little awkward, since Wade, Battier, and Miller all play the wing pretty efficiently. It works well with their small line up though with LBJ at PF, Wade at SF, Allen at SG, and Chalmers at PG. Maybe Wade at point and Allen at SG could work too.

Fixing thread.

Allen is certainly going to have a lot of open looks on this team.

I'm sad to see Allen leave, especially to the Heat. Its like leaving the Sox's to go wear some pin stripes. I love what Allen did for us but he'll never be loved as much as when he was in Boston.

We'll be fine without him because we now have The Jet, who will be loved the moment he steps on the court. Plus Avery Bradley will be awesome next year.

Fuck The Heat. And James. I wish nothing but the worse for them.

Yup Having Jet can really give an extra scoring punch off the bench

I can't even describe what the Mavs are doing they can't even sign anybody

Dirk is my favorite player and without help the mavs will be a lottery team which I hope won't become this upcoming season
