Disclamer: There are some spoilers, if it would matter here. Yes, finally there is. Soooo... it's again amazing - not as good as previous one but very good. What was nicest was still Potte - again little bit of development, sweet as always (that smile while looking at photo in shop)... pleasure to watch what is she doing. Norie on the other side... I was afraid what will happen when she will appear, and there it is. For most part irritating, ok - didn't change since OVA which is good, but maybe I need just to get used to her. Other one was the teacher. And great part: Conversation between Potte and Sayomi. |

FINALLY subs... Kept checking whenever I made a move in the internet (which was often these past days)... Great episode again! I somehow got a little Miyazaki-feeling around the time when Potte was waiting for the others for the sleepover. Though, up till now, this anime is "gentler". One thing (well, two, but they are related): I would hve preferred the big sister not to appear. I liked the setting and the mood before she showed up. While her appearing was still accepted, her little speech seemed unneccessary to me. Though it fit the anime, I did not like it (I did not actually dislike it but I think it would have been better without). At least, she should have focused more on her and her sister's concern for Potte and left out the rest. All that about the memories being happy and warm and taking the father's place, that deemed superfluous and boring (It sounds harsher than I mean it). Well, I can understand that most people will see that different. Hmh, the not-so-good-part is longer than the good-part AND the comment... Guess I like complaining. ^^" However, I loved this episode and out of the series I watch these days Tamayura: Hitotose continues to be one of my favorites. By the way: In the discussion thread fo the first episode, someone mentioned that this was different from all the Ecchi and violence. I definitely agree. That is exactly what I thought watching this second episode (and perhaps I thought it last week, too... can't remember that long back). I like Ecchi and fighting anime and watch it a lot. This one is the exact opposite of all those loud, hectic, flashy episodes tormenting my brain every day. That would probably be the very reason why it is called a "healing" anime, but to stress it again: Tamayura: Hitotose is extremely relaxing and calming. It's great!!! EDIT: It just took me 40 minutes to write that one... As Sakata Gintoki (Gintama) would say it: NANDE DAA~??? (seriously, that's enough time to write 10 comments and then watch an episode of another series...) Modified by animehobbit, 10-13-11, 6:12 PM |

I got a better understanding of the story, this episode. These 3 girls were Fu childhood friends and Chihiro was her new childhood friend in the city, but I bet Chihiro consider her best friend. xD Want to see Chihiro mingling with the trio, if she does visit, or maybe we get constant updates through mail (photographs with her new friends etc...), I still find episode 1 a bit bitter, because of the departure. Regarding episode 2, the introduction of the teacher and his antics, really made this series comical, which I didn't like, nor hate, but I was hoping it will stay further inside parenthesis of "slice of life" theme. The later appearances of the older sister killed the mood for me, I was hoping only the 4 girls would bond with each other that night and allowing the viewers to get more attach. ![]() |

In the beginning where Sawatari was fumbling over her desk, the person sitting behind her, which is a guy, must have gotten some awesome panty shots. ![]() |

Apart from the annoying teacher (he may have good intentions, but even those don#t stop him from being annoying), I liked this episode. Even though it's not as good as Usagi Drop last season, Tamayura is def a good anime and I'll watch it to the end. btw, am I the only one who starts a little waterworks when the opening plays? *blush & hides* I want Rambo in a mecha-suit with a laser-chainsaw gun that fires nuclear warheads, fighting the love-child of Predator, Alien, a group of Bangladeshi terrorists, and Satan. (Actually that would be a pretty sick show) - StopDropAndBowl |

Aww~ I love this anime. Also, the episode tells that the OVA won't be covered. So yeah, watch the OVA to see Fuu's meeting with Norie and Maon. And the story of the picture shown at the start! Loved every single second of it! Sayomi is such a kind girl too. She kinda reminds me one of the three water fairies in ARIA, if you know who I am referring to. Also the sensei reminded me of Akatsuki. vansonbee said: I got a better understanding of the story, this episode. Well, whatever. |

The first episode was OK, but this one was great! I'm already a fan of Sawatari and Okazaki. Looks better than the A-Channel disaster, at the very least. |

Having to wait till the end of the week wasn't such a bad thing with this episode it just makes you forget all your worries from the week. It's just so calm and peaceful. That teacher seemed very interesting especially when the girl he loved was around. ![]() |

This was a great episode, I found it to be a huge improvement on last episode and the OVA series. The introduction of the teacher with his bad puns and overbearing personality was hilarious. He reminded me a lot of Neko-Sensei from Princess Tutu in the way he caused all those awkward moments for the girls, and since Sato directed both series I don't think that''s a coincidence.
