| According to Hokkoku Newspaper, a new anime of Hanasaku Iroha was announced at Yuwaku Bonbori Festival. It will be released in 2012. Yuwaku Bonbori Matsuri official website “Bonbori Festival” was originally an imaginary festival in Hanasaku Iroha anime. The tourist association of Yuwaku, the model spa of Hanasaku Iroha anime, reproduced the festival with the anime producers in order to promote the spa. About 5,000 people visited the spa during the festival and filled the main street. | New anime? The "old" one just finished airing not too long ago? Or is this a sequel? Either way, that's rather soon. I didn't think it was that popular. Seemed so-so to me. I'll probably watch this, no matter what it turns out to be. |

| I think that this will be a live-action drama of some sort as I can see it working as a live-action. Well there's no action or anything so it would work. If it's a sequel, aren't PA Works already busy with Another? So far they've only done one anime series a year. |
