THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

I really enjoyed this episode and Kuchiha is becoming more awesome with each episode.

Also, I am glad that Heihachi lives.

Yep, and that's Amatsuki that's becoming more awesome each episode along with her ;)

I'm really pissed off because there are only 13 episodes though, that's typically the kind of series that deserve a full season to develop correctly... So I hope there will be a second one after that !

I think they may make a second season or at least an OVA because their following the manga almost perfectly and with only two more eps left the only thing that will be resolved is the fox + tree spirit ark. The whole princess ark still has a long ways to go. Next episode the fox + tree spirit ark should come to a close and the last episode will either be an original ending or have them continue on their journey. I'm hopping for the later.

They changes a few things in this episode but I'm really happy with those small changes. They made it so much easier to follow. I have to say I'm really impressed with this series. It hasn't butchered the story at all but it has left out a lot of other major plot devices.

I loved this episode too. Heihachi and Shamon are two of my favourite supporting characters and they both had quite some screentime.

And with this episode it appears that finally things are picking up. I hope they make a second season out of this because even though I haven't read the manga, it's quite clear that 2 episodes just isn't going to cover the whole story. I don't think this fox demon storyline has anyhing to do with what happened in the first few episodes. But maybe they'll shed a little light on who the bad guys are, although I think that in this series, it's more of a shad of gray than it is black and white.
