This started out alright, and it held my interest through the whole thing. Definately entertaining. Thought the whole love story was blah. It had a solid ending, but Wasn't the ending I was looking for personally. |

Wavering between a 6/10 and a 7/10 on this show... Kinda my feelings too about this show. I would really have liked to see more details of the past, some were just very briefly mentioned, others were ignored completely. Probably 7/10 from me. an acceptable ending, altho more info about the origins can be revealed Apos ways of killing time are sick, his ending is well deserved i guess this show is trying to tell us immortals and angels may exist around us without us knowing it... and the moral of the story should be: information does not come cheap :) |

Wtf? I loved this anime but they really didn't explain much. She meets her lover after a thousand years and he dies so easily how lame !! I wish they would make a season 2 and have it a full 12 episodes to explain things, and I'm really curious as to what her son will be like when he grows up. |

eww. it was like she was being born full grown... but yeah this series was pretty awesome. It would be pretty cool to see a second season come about but I highly doubt it. |

I got the feeling that they either left a lot of stuff for the end, or that they changed something in the storyline along the way. I'll have to watch it again to see how it feels after knowing everything about Rin and Mimi. Having said that, I thought this was a very well made series. Good mix of actions, supernatural, sci fi and erotic content. I loved the time progression elements and how the side characters were important as well. Foppery and whim is all I need in life |

Gotta say this is one of the sickest, immoral Anime I've ever seen yet Root of Yggdrasil reminds me of Lady Gaga's born this way LOL. I like the whole awesomeness but the ending ruined the whole story with Rin gives birth to a baby who looks old and too many sex that's quite unnecessary to the story. 7/10 |

Where should I start.. Well, it surely is a dark series with a lot of fan service mixed with blood/gore and torture..? I am not sure I can place the finger to what it really was that kept me finishing this show, but, it did. About the story, the 1000 year old angel that Rin knew from the past, He was not in the same blood line as that girl and her father/grandfather etc? I must have slipped a lot in the story line on that part. anyway, for the show I'd happily give a 8/10, cannot really go any higher than that as I'm more into a good story, which this show didn't make the time to complete, both before and after this incident. 8/10 for a genre I'm rather fresh watching, maybe I'm just being nice? :) |

Just finished it. I always read in the internet how violent and sick is this anime, but it's pure exaggeration. Enjoyed the plot, good animation, great ending. 9/10 - I wish they've shown Rin regenerating without censorship after the explosion in episode two =/ |

very unique and interesting concept....although i do understand the metaphors and such, my head is still very confused...i feel like something in my head isn't right...like it fogged up....idk something i feel i should know but dont know what....i don't mind the gore/fan service....but i give it a 9.5/10 because i wasn't very fond of the art....
