| Simon gets sentenced to death and Gurren Lagann is scrapped. Another great episode. Rossiu continues to be a meanie. The ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH! remix at the end was amazing. It also looks like Rossiu and Kinon have some sort of relationship growing. The only real downside is that when they showed Littner I expected Yoko to show up. 5/5 |

Rossiu's plan for the future is to replicate the village of his youth with a culling number of 1,000,000 instead of 50. Sincerity of belief is not a justification for monstrous acts, at the most it only puts you slightly ahead of the hypocrites or opportunists who don't believe in what they are doing, but who do it anyway because it allows them to stay in power or reap the rewards. |

| Man, it's depressing to see how everyone on Rossiu's side, who used to be such enjoyable and beaming characters, have now all changed for the worst. Also the masses of citizens are so ungrateful and have shown how quickly the public can shift to serve their own self interests in acts of desperation. Still, I do not hate Rossiu, as I'm sure he's just doing what he thinks is the best course of action. However, I think his lack of faith in Simon and the death penalty have gone too far, and he's now just become a cold and calculating aristocrat. Simon is getting put in a cell with Viral huh? I hope Viral becomes his new partner in the Gurren Lagann. |

How dare he condemn Simon like this, last time I checked, he was in the fucking cockpit of Gurran the whole time while Simon was fighting the Spiral King. Hell, if it wasn't for that and Simon defeating the Spiral King, he wouldn't even have the authority he has now. Actually if it wasn't for Kamina and Simon, he'd still be a fucking hole underground worshiping some stupid face god!!! | Wow damn, I definitely take back what I said about last episode, Rossiu has become a complete and utter prick. Just like his father. He may be a clever bastard, but his heart is now rotten to the core. I don't think he gives two shits what happens to anyone. Even if the end results are "justified", I don't think the ends always truly justify the means. Betraying his former friends so easily... and also willing to sacrifice Kinon like it's nothing. Maybe he knew Simon would have to obey his morals and not run away, but that's still a horrible thing to do. If humanity is so willing to blame their savior like that, then they're not even close to worth sacrificing your friends for, let alone saving. I'm glad he got put in with Viral, I can definitely see them working together now. Can't wait to see them destroy Rossiu. He can pretend all he wants that it's for the good of humanity, but just like his father now he's just a power-hungry and blinded by what he can gain from this... even if he doesn't realize it. | I can't stand him. Rossiu. This is one of the few times in a show's episode when my eyes widened with disgust and hatred for someone. Fuck him. And throwing down the Kamina statue, that's just desecration. I'd love to see Rossiu burn, that little shit. |

| Nah, Rossiu's actions don't even make sense. There's no point in putting people underground if the moon is going to collide, and sentencing Simon to death for something out of his control definitely was biased. I dunno what happened in those seven years but I can't wait to see him fall to his knees - and Kinon too tbh. Him saying Kamina's death was a good thing..............I wanted to stab in him the throat. I'm liking Kittan more and more. He literally reacts to everything the same way and the same time as I do haha. Hopefully he manages to find a way to stop this BS. |
| Did Rossiu forget that he helped Simon kill the Helix King? He was piloting Gurren at the time. Such a hypocrite. Still, I'm not sure if he or the people of Kamina City irk me more. It's true enough that pure democracies don't work in large settings. Playing up to the people in such settings is how tyrants come into power, and Rossiu seems to be becoming just that. Seeing a real-world political reality occur in a fictional environment is a bit stressful for me, to be honest. Bleh. It was a good episode, albeit a frustrating one. |

| I really do like the shift in tone this series has. I got really mad when they tore down that statue of Kamina. These people are so ungrateful! I hope Rossio isn't really planning to kill Simon but make the people think that they actually killed him. If not then it obvious that he wants to be Commander. That trial wasn't fair as Kittan said. He's becoming a tre ass! Or he's wants to become the villian for the greater good. It's obvious that Kinon devolped some feelings for Rossio. She blushed! I hope Simon comes back and proves everyone wrong. Great episode! Viral is back! Hoe Yoko makes an appearance soon. I want Simon and Viral to team up! |

| I actually think Rossiu is great. maybe not as a person (even then he isn't straight up evil but is more manipulative with an "the ends justifies the means" kinda attitude for some of the shit hes pulling) but as a character he's great. when in trouble, just pull a new drill power up out of your ass that didn't exist until it was convenient. Nia is still wearing the ring and keeps appearing to Simon at times it seems would serve no purpose to the antispiral. is the Nia from before still in there somewhere? (probably.) pretty sure Viral and Simon are going to team up for a good ol' fashioned prisonbreak |

| Man, for all his jackassery, Rossiu sure knows how to manipulate the masses, and sadly, I could totally see people acting that way. But I think what bothers me most about all this is that everything that happened before the time skip, Rossiu's connections with Simon and the others, appear to mean absolutely squat to him. I mean, he was always an uptight dude, but now you could probably keep an ice burg frozen with his attitude. I do like the drama he's bringing to the plot, though. It makes sense that his character turned out like this. So far, I'm really enjoying this time skip. My guess is as good as anyone's as to how this is all going to turn out. |

| Simon's trial was about as fair and lawful as the Nuremburg war crime trials after the Second World War. Just as there the prosecutors had no legal right to accuse the prosecuted of the crimes which were legal long whilst they committed the said crime, only made illegal AFTER all said crimes stopped being committed, while simultaneously the prosecutors themselves committed the same crimes in similar circumstances. Also similarly to Nuremburg, Simon's trial outcome was predetermined before the trial and the defendant was not granted an opportunity to defend himself in said court. Or was, but the defence was woefully inadequate only granting the spectators the illusion that the accused could defend onself. Such double standards, such unlawfulness, such hypocrisy, such a parallel to Nuremburg.... This trial reminded me so heavily of Nuremburg (esspecially Hermann Goering's and Rudolf Hess trials) that I can only think it was an intentional parallel. Great writing. |
