| Most intense episode ever, period. This episode was a 10 for sure. Seriously, first episode in any anime to have me actually say "Fuck yeah". It's been a while since I've seen such an awesome episode. Can't wait to see the movie, OVA, and second season when it starts airing really soon. |

| Although there's still a TV special (disguised as episode 76) I can say this was a good conclusion... it ends at a good point. Spectacular series and very satisfying ending! I'll be looking forward to the second series for after my exams! >w< |

| Everything just fits for this anime. Pacing, animation, tension, character building, music and a little bit of romance. It all connects perfectly. Without a doubt one of the best anime I've seen this year and will probably remain that way for quite a while. All the fights were amazing but this last fight ... shit, I'm at a loss for words, that's how epic this shit was. |

| This serie made me so addicted I couldn't leave the screen the past 20 episodes. Totally forgot the time and suddenly the sun rised again. Was so extreme I watched it the whole night without noticing it. Definetely a 10 No/very few fillers Good speciales/few fillers Decent storyline Awesome fight Awesome animation, use of pace, expression drawings, special effect drawings Awesome and steady growth of main character NOT TO MENTION THE INSPIRATION THE ANIME GIVES YOU TO TRAIN YOUR BODY PHYSICALY! |
| I'm a 19 year old male. Tears welled up in my eyes when the belt was put on and the chorus of the song came in. I then rewatched that part when the episode was over, and it happened again. Absolutely beautiful series. Not only were the music, animation, plot, and characters all top notch, but Hajime no Ippo brought me lessons that I think I'll always remember. It may sound corny, but it's true. I practice a martial art, and this series has given me a lot more inspiration to keep trying my best. Everything was perfect. 11/10. Can't wait to start watching New Challenger!!! |

| And so it ends. Well, I have to say I'm completely satisfied with the ending. Ippo became the champion and that's what I was looking forward to. In general, the show was really interesting, intense and exciting. One of the greatest sport shows I can remember. |

| Really enjoyed this series. Even at 75 eps, including 2 recaps, I never felt for a second like I was watching filler. Perfect pacing and wonderful characters. I think only this series could get away with stretching a single fight across 4 eps and have me at the edge of my seat the whole time. |
