Sentai Filmworks Licenses Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - Forums

Redfoxoffire News Team Offline Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1703	According to their official press release, Sentai Filmworks has licensed Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere). Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere will be airing on The Anime Network weekly starting October 4th in Japanese with English subtitles. Home video releases are set for 2012. They went out of their way to announce that Persona 4 was getting a BD version, yet they made a conscious effort to not say anything about it for Horizon. So.. I'd doubt it.

McRib Offline Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 1116	I really wonder how this will be...apparently it's only going to be 12 episodes and it has enormous amounts of source material. I can't see this ending up good unless they do multiple seasons of it. Regardless, at least we'll get reliable subs for it now.

It's too early to tell right now. They'll wait to see how well it does streaming-wise before deciding to dub it and give it a BD release, similar to how they handled Demon King Daimao.

I doubt it will be a free simulcast though so I'll stick to fansubs unless Crunchyroll gets it too somehow which I doubt, but meh. "What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? Not your favorite character thats for sure!"
