| Meh. I was confused, and there's still stuff to be explained or developed upon. It felt rushed and left loose ends to tie up. If they don't have a 2nd season, then this will have been a pretty stupid way to end a series. If there is 1, then kudos for cliff-hangers. I liked Aki and Kyouhei laughing on the roof. That was cute. ^_^ Didn't like much else. This series wasn't that great to begin with... I'd still watch another season, if only out of curiosity or for completion's sake. |
| So they're going to go with the non-ending, eh? Well, I'm not too surprised: the series overall was pretty mediocre, with most of the main characters being motiveless and hollow (not the nihilistic or apathetic/snarky kind, either, but the boring and uninteresting kind). Really, a few of the side characters, who got on average 10 minutes of screentime each, were more complex and engaging. The plot was... predictable: again, just uninspired. Not that there were any particularly glaring flaws, but it seemed that the writer just didn't care. The best I can give this is a 4/10 with 2 points counted as an incomplete for the ending. Maybe if it gets a second season and there's not much else good airing, I'll watch it and the first season can get bumped up to a 5 or a 6 depending on how much of the first season was development for the second season. |

| I see some people complaining because they didn't wind up all the plot points, on the other hand a forced ending would have generated just as many complaints. In a series based on a continuing manga this is about as good as it gets. (and if you really want to see how a great anime can be torpedoed by a sloppy ending try Kare Kano). I'm keeping this at an 8/10 (in part because of the OP which is on my current ipod playlist). It had some weak points but there are enough quirky characters and remaining plot questions to keep my interest. As for Hibino (who seems to generate a certain amount of hate), she seems to be more of a yamato nadeshiko character (though I don't think she's made Kyouhei a bento yet), and that probably is a little too passive for current tastes. She's not a bimbo, she's just drawn that way (to quote Jessica Rabbit). I'm willing to wait for a couple of years for season two--we had to do that for Shana after all. |

| Wow what a great episode and series over all. No complaints here, all it did is leave me wanting more. Loved the characters, story, and omg actual progress in an anime that was a big bonus for me. Can't wait to see more |

| I'm not going to act like this was a great finale because it wasn't to me. It does leave it open for something else to follow but just felt like another episode...and not that great of one. The fight in the beginning was nice and the part where Kiyohe and Aki were arguing about the rice balls were the best parts. Would check out a 2nd season.....not sure if there will be one, i have a feeling more like OVAs but we'll get something. Not a bad series but sort of lingered with the plot progression. 7.5/10 (round down to a 7) |

| I find it funny that Kakeishi can only be good if their Seki is batshit crazy~ Lol. The kiss definitely surprised me, and I must say as much as I abhorred watching this every week, the ending scenes weren't that bad, and I very much enjoyed the cutesie moment between Aki and Kyohei~ Now I gotta go find some cute fluff for those two~;D It seems there's no doubt at all a second season is in our midst, though as I remember the entirety of this first season being a flop I'm not at all sure I'll watch it:/ Well, not unless Utao somehow dies in the first episode anyway...>w>/ |

| Wow this was actually a very great anime, the company remained faithful towards the manga. Definitely one of those better adaptations. The scene where Hibino and Kyouhei kissed and holding hands were great as well as the scene where Aki and Kyouhei were arguing. Overall a really good series 9/10. Cant wait for the second season! |

| Not a bad ending for this season, yet there were a lot of things unexplained and inconclusive. In the next season Kyohei will return to being a Seki and control Kukuri once more. Nice teaser of the fight with the monster too. Looking forward to it. Overall a pretty nice series, yet nothing really special. 7/10. |

| Not bad actually but to have Hibino kiss Kyohei and Aki making up with Kyohei in one episode is a bit too much for my taste all in all pretty enjoyable despite the rather slow-ish beginning and some weird quirks here and there would've wanted Kirio to see Kyohei at the hospital too though seeing as how much he cared about his brother :3 Second season is probably confirmed seeing the ending, can't wait for Kyohei action since he didnt really do anything this episode bar the flash backs 8/10 from me, very enjoyable indeed :D especially Mahiru's appearance and Kyohei's harem rofl |

| That was a great ending. The kissing part was really done well because you do not see it coming in that way. Its just *BAM* in your face. Also I love how they give a little preview of the next season at the end. Great job. 5/5 8/10 |
| Last part is damn cool ! I think I'm switching from Aki to Kyohei but he already have Hibino and he only looks cool in psycho mode =_= Can't wait for the next story. 7/10 |
| I am relieved. I am relieved they did NOT go anime-original ending. I am relieved we will get next parts of manga animated one day. I am relieved to say this anime was pretty much the best thing to happen this season. Kyohei is awesome organic and REALISTIC lead character. The whole season was really about his emotional journey of accepting who he is and facing the future forward. He is awesome lead who did not need power or cool fights to develop as character. Flawed, interesting human being. Even if the show doe snot get a next season(i am pretty sure it will), this will most likely draw more attention to the manga and speed up the scanlation rate, so its all a good thing. 8/10 for anime. 9000/10 for the finale. Also: communiist said: Way too underrated This. Agreed so much. Also, people, Kukuri did NOT go berserk. Pretty much everything, from its controlled and prtty much non-berserk fight and how it actually did not harm the "good guys" and the fact that it still had kyohei's song upon it during that implies that Kyohei, even if unconscious, was controlling the thing during the fight |

With an open ending (and the expectatives of a possible 2nd season) at least it didn´t end as disastrous as *cough* No6 and Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi *cough*. And thanks to this series I have a brand new favorite character: KUUKO!! (c´mon, she rulz, doesn´t she? XD) 8/10 |
