| Apparently all the subbed versions released thus far (KindaHoribleSubs/Crazy Squid/HorribleSubs, etc) are using the scripts from CrunchyRoll (on better quality RAWs). Hopefully FFFPeeps are doing this series as they also did the first. Good to have Ika Musume back though! :P |

| Maybe my expectations were too high after the awesome first season. The episode itself was OK. I used to laugh much more watching the episodes of season 1. I hope it picks up. OP is pretty nice but nowhere as catchy as the first season's and the ED is nothing special. Don't disappoint me, season 2! |

| Nothing remarkable yet. But I'm really glad to seeing ika and the gang again. The OP theme is indeed a lot better. Sanae starting to sound like Ohana. |
| I miss the old OP, it might not have been good, but it was really catchy and fit the show (not like the new does not) very well. Having Ika-chan's seiyu sing the ending is a nice touch. Glad Kiyomi and Sanae returned, I really liked her characters, even though Ika is unrivaled in this aspect. I hope the girl in red from season one will also make an appearance sometimes during the run of the anime. 5/5, a squidly good start, keep it up! |
| The first OP was voted best OP of the year in Japan just recently, it fitted the show perfectly and was catchy as hell This OP is just unmemorable, run off the mill anisong with none of the original's spirit or glee In other words: Sphere is being Sphere but all otaku eat it up because seiyuus in it are popular |
| I fucking love me some sphere, but I would have preferred if Ika would have sung the OP instead. Needed another SHINRYAKU SHINRYAKU SHINRYAKU SHINRYAKU SHINRYAKU SHINRYAKU IKA MUSUME type song. Also IKA CAN FLY?! First episode wasn't all that special, didn't really feel like the beginning of a new season at all. But still looking forward to more. |

| Ika-chan is as awesome as ever, let the invasion continue de-geso. Poor Ika got her first scare from Shizuru first episode in. Not a big fan of the generic Op song though. The last one seemed like a crazy little song that you wouldn't normally hear but it fit the show and it was addictive in a strange way. This one is just....a song. |

They haven't fixed the wall yet.. and I really dislike Chizu being scary she should be the alien "is there something I wouldn't have said??.. but really" -lol that part was hilarious The competition for Ika all being that serious was really cute, and getting stung by haha Well the Ending Theme song isn't much compare to the 1st season |
