THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh the first big fight involving two episodes :) The grim reaper was pretty good for a bad guy. Showing off his history with Cho Hakkai. Kinda wierd how theres so much dialog especially if this guy killed Hakkai's wife. But with each new twist it just gets better and better. Hakkai's Chi Guong isnt as flashy as the others fighting styles but its still impressive.  I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it -- Voltaire |

Hakkai's backstory was pretty good. I'm guessing we're going to get something like this for each character now. |

Hakkai's lover, Kanan, committed suicide because Chin Yisou's father pretty much kidnapped and raped her... At least, that's what I got from watching and listening to Hakkai's background unfold. Very good episode. It's fun watching the four of them get along and their friendships develop... though Sanzo and the rest of them would probably say otherwise. XD I wonder where Hakuryu came from, though... Did Hakkai pick him up somewhere and adopt him? I wonder what elapsed and how much time passed between Hakkai's turning into a demon and his inclusion in Sanzo's group? |
