OMG, Ichijou's scream when he was about to lose was like "HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU". Will he really work for 1050 years btw ? Hyoudo that son of sadomasochist lulz.

Worst kaiji arc imo.

I dont f*** get it. Whats this thing with hyoudou at the end??? 1050 years of hard labor? 15 years per 10 million yen? what the heck is he talking about??

woot for kaiji. I hope they come out with another arc. Im betting they will if there still releasing movies.

Watched it in fast forward like half of the serie. Terrible pacing, just terrible.

The pachinko arc is terrible for a lot of different reasons. All the games Kaiji played in until now always included some kind of cheating but using the strength of his mind, Kaiji's managed to overcome terrible obstacles. This was what made the other (quite simple) games so intresting: those mind games (they were also quite short).

But the bog? What's the skill in the bog arc? Kaiji tilted a building with water, managed to put fake parts into it, moved the forest of pins. Of camera. Those were obviously not the main show. No: that was kaiji screaming and crying for about half of the serie as he simply watched balls falling down. How much thunderclaps, mad narration, crazy directing (with this camera following the balls everywhere) can save such a boring premise? Litterally NOTHING happened in the pachinko arc, they just played the same machine for a couple of times in order to grasp a vague possibility. This is probably the biggest insult: Kaiji didn't mature at all. He was a loser that lost in the past because he thought that praying was a good idea (which costed him four fingers) and he is a loser now. The only difference is that he is protect by some of the most ludicrous plot haxes I've ever seen in my whole life.

Terrible, just terrible. And I thought the Chinchirorin arc was slow.

Im glad this arc is over . Bog arc wasnt that good compared to the rest so far.

No matter what happens in the last ep Kaiji s1 >> Kaiji s2 .

Fucking amazing arc, amazing ending. Word's cannot describe how well Kaiji can adapt itself from the manga. I didn't read the first season's manga so I don't know how well it was adapted, but Madhouse really overdid themselves this time, not letting even one part of the manga slip out. Amazing show, the dice arc was great aswell but I preferred the Bog just cause of the sheer intensity of the show aswell as a damn fine villain in Ichijou.

Bring on the Mahjong arc, MH!

i cant believe people are calling this the worst arc ever. yea ill admit it was longer than it shouldv been but it was so intense each ep which made up for the length imo. i loved it.

agreed. the 2nd season is really good but i just cant see it being better than s1.
