| 5 episodes in, and I'm still no closer to finding out what "I want to dive lost mind" means :-D Still, pretty cool episode, although there better be more than just training for a few episodes...some character (as opposed to physical ;-)) development would be nice for a change |

| Just started this show! Did 5 episodes in one sitting and then I had to sleep (it was 6 AM lol) Strangely addicting. This is the sports anime that leans on the manly side rather than pretty bishounen or cute boys (which is okay too but I like variety) Anyway, I'm loving it so far. Hoping there will be more characters later on as well. |

| Great episode,I love how side characters get some development aswell. Fast forwards training sequences underlined with music are always great. Loving this anime so far. I've never seen shower scenes like this before in an anime xD |

| Miyata has some serious eye bags, looks like he hasn't slept once in his entire life in fact, Ippo looks like the only character who gets any sleep in this anime or do you automatically get eye bags when you become a boxer? |

| I can definitely see the resemblance of the early episodes of Hajime no Ippo to how My Hero Academia handled its prologue and it's really fun to see how much the latter had taken inspiration from the former in showing the humble beginnings of a character that strives for greatness. Ippo and the other characters in the gym are definitely growing on me. It's great to see them get friendlier with each other and to know more about their lives and aspirations especially with Kimura. That shower room scene where his dong ended up looking bigger than Takamura's was hilarious. He's improving so much and their rematch is finally approaching! |
