Diary - Entry 1 - Sep 25 2011 I recently saw my parents again after many years. We drifted apart a long time ago, not just by bonds but in distance too. It's good to see them, and I'm happy they are doing fine, thanks to god. But they are passing into their 60's now. And as each moment passes slowly and the days build up.. I just can't help think of the inevitable, that one day not too long from now they will leave this world. Every time I think about it my heart sinks a little. All I want to do is help them live the rest of their time in this world in peace and happiness. I'm able to hold back the tears now, but I don't think it will be the same when my dear parents leave me alone. Love your parents, appreciate the time you have together. |
