| What a sweet episode. Probably the best of the season, too. I couldn’t stop the warm feelings I’ve got because of the Fujiwara’s (especially Touko-san’s) kindness. “Food made with love tastes better.” … I must say, I’m glad the son of the last family he was with before moving in with the Fujiwara’s was really nice – not everyone is uncaring, and Natsume is not just a boy no one liked. I almost teared up when Natsume did. I loved that scene. Next episode is the last, oh why? ;__; … still when winter season comes around, we know we’ll have more Natsume. ♥ |

| What a heartwarming episode. The hospital scene made me warm and fuzzy inside. Then the ED song played to match the atmosphere. Brilliant, just brilliant. |
| I've said this before, but I'll say it again--I love how well the Natsume Yuujinchou series deals with the theme of family. Crowning moment of heartwarming at the end of this flashback. Full thoughts are here in this blog post. |

| Touko-san and Shigeru-san~~! <3 They are soooo kindhearted. Natsume is really lucky to have them in his life. I really love how this series handles all of Natsume's flashbacks. He really had it rough before the Fujiwaras came along. |

| Q_Q The Fujiwara's are really kind. Natsume has a place to call home now...it's sad how the other relatives think he's weird and that he is a burden. The son of that household at least was nice to Natsume. But this episode...so touching. He's come so far to finally have a place where he feels like he can belong and be happy at ;__; |

| Yandere youkai? nice episode, his flashback was kinda sad and the ending was heartwarming. Overall, this series probably even can make the manliest man shed tears. |

| I never cry because of anime, but I was SO close to crying when Natsume said he wanted to go with Touko and Shigeru... it was so touching and perfect! Probably the best episode of the series thus far imo :) |

| That was a really sweet story. I was wondering how Natsume and Touko first met each other. It's nice to know that instead of forcefully getting sent there, both Natsume and the Fujiwaras were willing to live with each other. |

| Episode showing at last, a point of the story I expected to see for a long time: the bond between Natsume and Fujiwara spouses. Narrative a bit sad and gloomy, I would be curious to see things happened the previous Natsume's family. Nyanko-sensei is always great in the comic scenes. |

| When a youkai Natsume previously outwitted and sealed away returns Nyanko-sensei sends it packing for good, but not before we get an extended flashback chronicling those previous events, which ultimately led to Natsume living with Touko and Shigeru. Phew...love me my run-on sentences don't I? :D Anyway another sweet, if a bit repetitive, episode primarily meant to show Natsume isn't alone anymore. Loved his leaf youkai disguise and trap in the flashback. :D Touko's probably the best character after Nyanko-sensei. Just a wonderful person...and Shigeru ain't bad either. :D The family deserves that happiness, nicely illustrated in this season's ending theme. :) |
