| Depends on your point of view on what a "good" ending should be like. Do you want a happy ending, or a sad one? PS: Everyone who dropped the second season, I still suggest that you watch it. It wasn't nearly as good as the first one, but it has a great amount of funny moments, and the storyline is quite good ^^ |
| I honestly think this is going to be the best season out of all 3. Although this "good" ending might end up being a tragic ending in some sort of way. Of course that depends if J.C. staff follows the novels (which they wont). | Season 2 did have a happy ending until season 3 came along and ruined it. I think it'll end happy in my opinion, I doubt it'll be anything amazing though. |
| I love this series and I'm so excited that they're finally releasing the final season. I imagine the reason they had to wait so long was so that they could finish up the light novels first. As for the ending, I sincerely hope it's one deserving of such a good story. I reeeaaalllyyyy want it to be a happy ending but I can't imagine how that would work out seeing as Yuuji is the bad guy now and starting wars and killing people and such. Even if he is being controlled by Silver or something like that, it's not like you can just go back to normal after stuff like that goes down. Overall I expect the whole season to be a lot darker than the other two which makes for good drama and plot but usually leads to tragic endings :/ |

| OK!!, Now, we all saw the first episode right? Well, I already read the novel, and am Just waiting for the last volume to come out in English so I can read the ending. Personally, even though the last volume hasn't been released, so far the story shows the worst case scenario, a bad end for a certain character of whom I will not mention "Sakai Yuuji". Oops, I mentioned it. personally, I'd rather have Yuuji X Shana than a Yuuji X Death. and I'm a kind of guy who, I think I already mentioned this in my review, that I am a romanticist. So I would prefer a good end instead of a bad end. And also, even if it were to turn into a good end. Some characters in the story **** I won't say what happened to them. but so far, whether good or bad, if the anime follows the Novel, it'll just be a big dissapointer. So... DO YOU HEAR ME J.C STAFF!?!?!?!? DO NOT FOLLOW THE NOVEL!!! |

| I don't know if they will follow the novels ending or if the novel ending is good for that matter (since i can't read Japanese and i haven't found a English summary) but this picture from the last novel looks really promising :) Now i don't know how accurate the source is, but the ending that is written there seems to be accurate with the picture so i don't see much reason to doubt it, for those who want to see it its in the following link under the section "Shakugan no Shana" under the category tab of Artists/Series if you scroll down you will see it, once again tho since i haven't actually read the novel itself i don't know if its 100% accurate, i hope it is though :) http://iichan.net/ |

| Man why is everyone here so negative? What did you really expect from the first 3 episodes? I think they are doing it perfectly to be honest. I am actually really enjoying it as of right now. (Maybe because I am a huge fan) Anyways... there are only 2 outcomes I can see really / 1 - Yuuji ends up with Shana 2 - Yuuji dies (Ironic isn't it? He was suppose to die in the first few episodes) Btw this isn't spoilers because I don't even read the Manga let alone read Manga in general. |

If you look at what they have released online of the final novel nothing really indicates a bad ending, but i know what you are talking about because i know people who have read the novels so until the final novel it looked like it was going to be a bittersweet ending of them killing each other or one dying, etc but with things like the picture i posted before and this video it looks like the ending will be a good one Well in any case hopefully it turns out how those pictures indicate it will, even if it is cheezy i much rather a good happy ending for this show, bittersweet endings can take their part in others ones, it wouldn't fit here in my personal opinion. |

(soz i dont know how to make the text hidden) i cant remember where but someone wrote the whole thing in Japanese, and i entered the last bit in a translator (which wasnt very good) and from what i can read Yuji and shana survive and correct me if im wrong but they are also living on a world that Yuji/ "The Snake of the Festival" created. Also Kazumi Yoshida stays in the normal human world. |

Some people don't look to much into the plot so they judge it by its cover, if you actually watched the 3rd season (robert6610) then you would notice that Yuji isn't a "Bad" guy, actually most people here on MAL are saying he is right over the Flame Hazes, so while you have the right to your taste i suggest you look more closing at what your judging because otherwise you simply sound ignorant. Also the 2nd season was considered way worse than this by many because it focused on all the love triangle and deviated from the actual story, Shana wasn't meant to be a school setting harem, which is why most people hate Yoshida to begin with, she just gets in the way of the couple that every one knows will end up together in the end. |

| This season is like crap to me but watch it juz for the sake of ending what i started....... The fights are boring and those 2 main keep fighting each other w/o any conclusion and i dun even noe if they are even fighting or not.....it's like they r juz floating in the air toking crap |
