| im trying to get my friend at school to watch anime, hes 15, but he refuses to watch japanese subbed and will only watch dubbed. he also only watches anime with his sister, whos 13. They both watch naruto but want a new anime, and im stuck with ideas to recomend to them. They like action, comedy, romance anime. they dont want one thats too scary, they are both really child like. remember it has to be ENGLISH DUBBED!!! arigatou ^_^ |

| You just recommend good dubs without considering this is for a 13 year old girl, explicitly mentioning no scary stuff. So I'd say Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Baccano and the like are inappropriate. Samurai Champloo and the Ghibli movies should be good. And since they like Naruto you could try One Piece too. |

A good point, the age of the viewers definitely needs to be taken into account. I'm saying the Ghibli films and Soul Eater because, as much as I dislike Naruto, it seems like the two do have a SOMEWHAT similar feel (I feel dirty just saying that) |

| Judging by their age I'd say Rurouni Kenshin and FMA: Brotherhood are your best bets. Both series have all 3 of the qualities you mentioned, and they don't have any scary or overly mature content. |
