Qwaser II kinda sucked..

Nice to see the Astarotte OVA got on. Clearly people were deceived into buying what they thought was loli fanservice... only to get shota. Or maybe they knew exactly what they were getting into.

That's pretty much the only reason, they HAD to buy it in order to see it. But I feel this won't change sales in the normal blu ray sets.

If anything, this needs to click in their heads that they are better off just making ecchi stand alone OVAs, as its super outselling the TV series.

Well, I think the cover was pretty clear about which story it covered. Though it was only 1/3 of the episode anyway. And Mercelida is deadly hot.


"Super outselling"? 2.1k vs ~1.6k for the individual volumes (v2 did an estimate of 400 DVDs, give or take, in addition to ts 1,272 BDs), might be a significant percentage difference but realistically, I don't know how much it matters. And this wasn't much of an ecchi OVA anyway...


It's been in there a couple hundred times. =P

Every week. At least two Ghibli films, often more. Expect it.

UtaPri dominating the CD sales XD I thought Cecil's Idol Song wouldn't sell so well because he only appeared in the anime for a few seconds lol Glad to see the sales are ok for his CD too :3

Ah I wish I could buy Steins;Gate and Madoka's blu ray.

Lets see about those character CDs

Tomoka, Maho, and Saki's all hit the charts, please for the sake of Japan let Hina's hit the charts too and Airi if possible. Japan has lost it if her CD don't hit the chart, it would be the disappointment of the decade.

Sigh... even though i know it's not gonna change, it's still sad to see the top being an orgy of naruto, bleach, and one piece.

Steins;Gate is up there, and it fully deserves to have a spot on that list.

Ghibli films are so timeless & popular, they will still be on the top charts even our kids are anime fans which I hope my kid never becomes an anime fan like me...

Huh? None of those shows sells much on DVD. The only exception are some of their movies (like Jigoku-hen) and the One Piece Log Collections.

Other than that, those almost never sell many DVDs. The only reason you're seeing them this week is that it's a slow week + two Log Collections out + two new One Piece singles (note they sold very little) + Bleach movie recently released + new Naruto volume (also not selling much).

It's very weird to imply that those franchises somehow dominate DVD sales... quite untrue if you look at the actual numbers. They make their money in other ways (manga, merch, ratings, etc).

Those who bought the CD are probably known him from the game.

Yeah, I bought his CD because of that too and to complete my collection xD And because I like Kousuke Toriumi's voice, even though his singing voice sucks (just like Ono Daisuke, his normal voice is sexy, but he can't sing for his life lol)
