That or they realized that they would need to sub all those damn signs in the background, something I'm sure the fansubbers could've told them is a nightmare when it's at the ridiculous amount of SZS's. But yeah, last I checked, I thought someone had those rights. Might not mean it'll never happen, look how long Viz kept Monster's anime rights warming their seats. Mmmm, unused rights! So warm! |

| As usual, I don't understand all the rage about Show X getting dubbed. The mere existence of a dub is not going to force you to watch it, even if you do buy the discs or DL the dual-audio DVD or BD-rips. Jigoku Shoujo S2 and S3 (again, just wishful thinking on my part) Kara no Kyoukai (Please don't kill me for saying this) Hell Girl 2 and 3 -- both already released sub-only by Sentai Kara no Kyoukai -- already released by Aniplex USA in an expensive sub-only BD collection. Conan[ under proper name with Proper Charcter names ] According to Funi's reps, Detective Conan had its North American day in the sun, with TV exposure, plenty of marketing, and cheap collections. It didn't sell well enough to justify their costs, and correct names aren't going to help that. | Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Because that is currently the biggest Shonen series not licensed, and I want it now Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and Friends Return - I liked it, and would like to re-watch with a dub Sailor Moon Stars - Just because all the other seasons are licensed Digimon Xross Wars - Again, all the other seasons are licensed, and I want to watch this one. Various Digimon films - A few weren't licnesed, but they should be. All the Hunter x Hunter OVAs - Because they continue the plot of the anime series, which was licensed. Viz failed! Sigh. So many anime that need to be licensed. |

| Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Bakemonogatari The former has a slim chance of getting licensed, but a chance nonetheless, but the latter is out-of-the-question in the eyes of western licensors. Shame, though. It's fresh and exciting. EDIT: I'd also like to throw in an American release for Angel's Egg. It's an older movie, I know, but it really needs more love. |
