| I'm sure one day there will start to be good live action anime adaptations, but I don't expect this to be the start. It's not that "Hollywood" can't make a good anime adaptation, they just don't put enough money into it or have high profile directors direct them. They are so scared the movie won't sell well that it ends up being bad because of it. For those that don't like anything Hollywood, I guess there is no pleasing you. Though I find it hard to believe you don't like any American films. |

| this is interesting. i actually really like kite. the adaptation... probably not so much. not after recent live action releases. they even fucked up blood:the last vampire. these hollywood assholes always add some bulllshit into the plot giving it the distinct feel of hollywood and in the process making a crappy movie. im sure they add the same crap to the movie to make it marketable and target a bigger audience for more money but damn. i dont think anime were made to make money. at least i dont see them like that. until hollywood stops and makes something whether good or bad regardless of money. there wont be a good live action |

I doubt it will be any good (im just speculating).
