If your going to complain that Yu-Gi-Oh! Mangas are on the top NY times manga best sellers, you must not realize how popular Card games are(as well as the fact that you get a free card).

sigh, I'm the complete opposite of you.... I've been watching Hayate no Gotoku on and off since the season it was aired and I'm still not done with it. Dx So hearing about another season is making me want to watch it even less. =/ though my main reason for not watching it is because all the sites I go to have low quality videos for the first season >.>

Well, she is not done with Kagura yet (Gintama).

Also, Shana won't be exactly going very tsundere in the final season of Shana. This is because of "shit just hit the fan"-style event that happened between season 2 and season 3. Not really a spoiler but just to be safe:

However, do expect tsundere-level to rise for Louise and Nagi though.

So finally we will get more Athena...

I hope it would be season 1 producers who will be doing this, the season 1 is full of fun and excitement, the season 2 (JC staff version) kinda lose Hayate no Gotoku's charm and less fun and sometimes I even fell asleep watching many of the episodes.

No way, season 1 is the weaker of the 2, JC actualy did a good job on hayate season 2. Over a third of season 1 was filler and shit filler at that, there was never a reason for it the Hayate manga at that point had more than enough for them not to do filler, they also ignored alot if not all of the romance in season 1 and pretty much ignored Hina. JC staff kept it funny intresting with the same old charm of the Hayate manga and it also did the romance and relationship developments just like the manga and brought Hina into a main character role, they just did everything better. Hayate is one of JC staff's better works. Season 1 ignored key points of Hayate and for some retarded reason wanted filler and ignored the mangas timeline and pacing and that is why it is the weaker. Though it was not bad it was just lacking and the weaker of the 2 seasons.

Meh, I thought the second season sucked. It was unfunny and went way too far down the generic harem road. So not really hyped to hear this, I'll probably watch it nonetheless.

I'd rather have random crap thrown at me rather than stuff I've seen over and over again. The second season was plagued with the generic harem bullshit that has annihilated many good shows. Hayate no Gotoku's idea of character development is awkward sexual tension with a different girl from the harem every week, you might enjoy that kind of mindless garbage, but at least the first season gave me some laughs.

Oh, totally forgot to mention this lol. Second season was also destroyed by the story pandering to fanboys and basically forgetting who the main characters of the initial story were. The "MOAR HINAGIKU *squeeeeeeeee*" kind of people that apparently have the say-so really lowered my respect for the show.

So you hate canon stuff? Thats how the manga went... a lot of the first season was just filler that wasn't the actual story. Hinagiku was created to be a legit rival, but the first season just didn't expand on that yet since the manga didn't.

Really? She wasn't just another one of the 20 girls in Hayate's harem that happened to gain popularity and the mangaka pandered to the popularity to increase sales?

The only other girl in the "harem" who was developed from the beginning as a potential romance target for Hayate was Ayumi. And lets be honest; childhood/longtime friend never wins, so she wasn't going to be a serious contender. None of the other girls who had little development from the beginning were going to be real challenges. Its obvious even in season 1 that Hinagiku was a step above everyone else outside of Nagi.

Plus, rooting for Nagi is creepy. Shes like what, 11? And Hayate is like 16-17?

Iirc, she is 13 and Hayate is 16, that really isn't that creepy. Regardless, the story's initial premise was about Hayate being a broke-ass and being saved by Nagi and watching their story progress, but they basically started to just cut Nagi out of the picture. I don't even know why they have the pictures of Hayate with nagi on the covers anymore tbh.

Thank you, that totally explains why they are cutting her out of the story and making her a supporting character instead of being the female lead.......

I actually have to give the mangaka some credit. I've gotten tired of how like in almost every harem manga/light novel, the first girl is the winner. Theres like no real suspense there. But having Hinagiku as the leader now goes against those conventions.
