In the first half they introduce a few Masters and Servants, tell the rules and show us a few fights. The importance of the rest is questionnable. 12 episodes for this ? The length of two "long" movies ? Thanks to Saber, I saw more than 3 episodes : she saves the first half by her sole presence. |

Great episode. They have 12 episodes to wrap things up, so I'm hoping that things turn out to be pretty interesting.  Felli disapproves of this thread. |

The best episode! Unlimited Blade Works was great but I hated that Archer lost. He could of just killed of Berserker by killing his master but didnt and he didnt even try to kill shiro. Well, this episode was still pure epicness! Great episode. It might've been a bit strange if I hadn't played the chant in the VN, but since I did, I felt like the episode was reeking epic. I really wanted this part to be in the VN, but the anime took care of the problem. The chant still sends shivers down my spine. |

Even the Engrish couldn't ruin the melodramatic awesomeness of Archer's final performance. I do wonder what he meant by "I thought I got rid of it." I suppose he could simply mean that he thought his last big attack would have killed berserker, but I suspect Archer may have meant that his time with Rin and Shirou might have rekindled his more human emotions. His giving advice to Shirou on multiple occasions as well as sacrificing himself heroically in a rescue mission, which he didn't really object to (he voiced his objections, but he went without Rin having to use the forced command) would seem to support that idea. Amazing episode! The battle between Berserker and Archer was very moving! I'm so upset that Archer lost but that Unlimited Blade Works was woooowwww. What a move!     |

Wow that was pretty damn amazing. One of the best battles I ever seen hands down. His ability and the unlimited blade works kinda reminds me of Rakan from mahou sensei negima's pactio, the hero with a thousand faces. Looks like Heracles is just too dam imba. It will take a true weapon to kill a hero, looks like its time for some Excalibur action. |
