| just wondering because alot of people fight over sub-genres in metal just wondering is there anybody else that listens to all metal regardless of sub-genre and regardeless of how mainstream or underground it is, like for example I like old 80s metal, melodeath and old school death metal, but I also like some deathcore and metalcore not alot though but I still acknowledge it as metal. |

| yes, i tend to be more open minded than most metalheads. i basically go from black metal to doom, death to grindcore, mathcore to metalcore and so forth. still, i know crap when i hear it (kinda like most post-hardcore bands of today since they practically sound the same). also, i personally think sticking to just one sub-genre of metal kinda pointless, since there is other styles to check out, it kinda gets boring listening to one style after a while so i switch to a different one. |

| I listen to at least a little bit of every genre. There are some I'm not too well versed in, such as sludge, stoner, funeral doom, groove, grindcore, but I've listened to a lot of progressive, "avant-garde", folk, black, death, heavy, and power, haha. |

| I listen to alot of sub-genres too. Melodeath, power, alternative, nu, metalcore, deathcore, progressive, symphonic... I don't give a fuck about sub-genres, the only think that matters is that I like it and I hate when people hate on other sub-genres... |

| I listen to most metal sub-genres too the point it's actually easier to say what sub-genres that I don't listen to when people ask what I like. My preferred genres are thrash, stoner, and death but I pretty much listen to everything except industrial, any -core except grindcore, nu-metal, & post metal. That being said I still enjoy listening to Rammstein, Killswitch, & Slipknot every now and then. I believe taste can always change and you never know what can happen, I started 2014 disliking drone and ended up blasting Sunn O))) and Bong non-stop since October. |

| I don't like doom and black metal, also don't like gothic and etc. Generally speaking, I don't like death growl kind of vocal but still i like Necrophagist. |
| I try to be opened minded but I don't like metalcore, 95% of deathcore, and nu metal. But if you like those sub genres I wouldn't criticize you. |
