Most popular things are overrated. I'm not trying to be a hipster or anything, but a good deal of the shows that the anime community likes usually tend to be.... garbage. |

Underrated anime: - Denpa teki na Kanojo (Needs way more attention ... mainly because I want a whole season) - Another (It's not looked at greatly by my friends like the way I think of it) Meanwhile, in the magical world of anime.   |

Underrated: Guilty Crown I am not saying guilty crown is without faults by any means, I does have a lot of problems. The problem is that on MAL, it is ranked really low for the good show category because a lot of haters give GC scores like 3/10 or 4/10. GC is not underrated in terms of hype, but in terms of average score on MAL. Overrated: Fate/Stay Night I haven't watched Fate/Zero yet, so I don't know how good the sequel is. However, F/S N definitely has pacing issues and just lack character development. I thought I had much more to say, but surprisingly, the anime ranking in MAL is quite accurate. I wasn't too keen on the Fate series after trying out F/SN in which I thought it was just average, but after watching Fate/Zero, I would personally say it was a whole lot better than F/SN. K-On! is a bit overrated i guess, i only watched the first 2 episodes anyway musical anime is less my style though. |
