According to Anime!Anime!, CoMix Wave has announced a new OVA "Kono Danshi, Uchujin to Tatakaemasu. (This boy can fight with aliens.)" It will be released at Animate shops on September 20th. Konodan anime official website Screenshots The director is a 21-year old rookie creator Yamamoto Sobi. She was inspired by Voices of a Distant Star when she was a junior high student and has created many independent short anime, one of which won the grand prize in the 8th Weekly Ascii Short Movie Contest. Cast Kakashi: Kimura Ryohei Arikawa: Toyonaga Toshiyuki Shiro: Hirakawa Daisuke Synopsis: A yaoi-tasted sci-fi anime. The "Sekai (World)" has been under attacks by aliens. One day, Arikawa, one of the staff of the provisional headquarter for the invading aliens, finds a high school boy Kakashi, who is lying on a hill with his memory lost. Kakashi is found to have a power to beat the aliens and starts living together with Arikawa and his boss Shiro. Kakashi gradually gets used to the strange life but the relationship among the three breaks up when Kakashi loses his motivation to fight with the aliens. Source: Anime!Anime! Will probably watch for the look of the animation, despite the obvious undertones. I'm taking No. 6 pretty well, so this shouldn't be too bad. |

The animation looks pretty interesting, the plot seems kind of random though but the boy who can fight off aliens has an interesting character design...looks watchable  |
