Theirs this one particular Doujinshi I've been wanting to add for awhile but I'm not sure if it will be approved or not.

I remember reading that you accept original doujinshi from well established mangaka and Jingrock has quite a few manga's already in the DB. So I'm wondering is it ok to submit this? I really don't want to waste my time doing so just to see it denied later.

Also if it can be approved, what would the appropriate title be

Nope, since it's a King of Fighters doujinshi, it will not be added to the database. It doesn't matter if an established mangaka creates a doujinshi, what is important is the content. We only allow doujinshi, if it's of a published series that is drawn by the original creator; an original story, or using public domain characters, and is created by a published mangaka.

I see what you mean by originality but I've hardly read any Doujins that aren't based on popular series/genre's which makes me curious about the existing ones that are already in the DB.

So far I haven't come across one.

There are numerous original doujinshi. They aren't as popular as the ones based on established series/franchises, but they certainly do exist.

It's a NTR doujinshi by Sanbun Kyouden. Since Sanbun is a published mangaka, we will allow any of his original doujinshi in the database.

This is a doujinshi created by Takano Masayuki. It's based on his/her(?) Blood Alone series. And because it was created by the original author, it can be added to the database.

This on the other hand doesn't meet our guidelines. It is indeed an original story with original characters. The only thing wrong with it is that it isn't created by a published mangaka afaik.

Most people who submit entries aren't aware of the difference between a manga, doujin, and a one shot. And in the past, most of these got added without their types getting fixed. So while you think you haven't read any original doujinshi, I'm will to bet you have without even knowing it.

And I'm well aware we still have some lingering entries that have evaded our non-original doujinshi removal a while back. We are slowly still removing them as we find them.
