People saying "I didn't like the OVA but maybe it'll be good because it's on noitaminA" crack me the fuck up. This blind faith you always have in noitaminA is hilarious, because noitaminA is just a programming block! it is not an animation studio, or a writer, or a director. noitaminA has aired a wide variety of shows from differnt genres, for different target audiences, with different animation studios and casts and staffs. If half the shows on noitaminA aired on another block instead, half of you wouldn't even give them the time of day. Goddamn. I mean, I really love some of the shows that have aired during noitaminA, but only because they were good shows, not because of what programming block aired them. BRS on noitaminA isn't going to be any different than it would have been on another block. Anyway, OVA was absolutely incredible and this is some of the best news I've read all year. So fuck yeah, I hope it follows through with exactly the world the OVA set up. More Yomi and Mato NOW. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

Whoa, I absolutely didn't expect a TV series of BRS. I'm really excited now about more info. I'm curious to what kind of story it's going to have. Apparently the same as the OVA. |

I wonder if it's going to be a whole new concept, or continuation from the OVA. I don't see STR in the picture, but someone who looks a little like Dragon Taiji... 2012 is going to start with a BLACK ROCK BANG! So happy! So exited! ![]() |

Awesome! “There’s no way I’d come to like a girl with such strange horns. Then why did you… I told you I love unusual animals..” |

The ova was meh, but a full anime version might end up better, it's surprising that it's running on the Noitamina block though, maybe they need to pay the electric bills or something... "The R1 Anime business is a cruel and shallow financial trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." |

Is that Black Devil Girl on the picture, or is it just Dead Master with glasses? |

Not exactly a surprise. I didn't really like the OVA, but that was mostly because everything that happened had no context, explanation or development, so a TV series should be ALOT better. |

I wonder if this is as close to a Vocaloid tv anime as we'll get. I'm pretty disappointed with how popular Vocaloid is that they've never had an anime ![]() |

Colour me intrigued. The OVA had potential, but didn't use it well. The 50 minute length really didn't help it there either. Hopefully with a series they'll have enough time to establish and develop the characters as necessary. ![]() |

I'm pretty disappointed with how popular Vocaloid is that they've never had an anime A big part of Vocaloid's appeal is the "collaborative creation" aspect of its fandom, and the fluid, open nature of the characters. I'm guessing that Crypton is relatively reluctant to "cement" the brand with a particular canon. Not that I wouldn't be the first one in line to eagerly preorder all the JP BDs for a Vocaloid TV anime, mind you. Just sayin'. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

If they had a story to base it on, or at least draw inspiration from, they would've made an anime a long time ago. I guess it's pretty hard to develop a story around characters that don't really have a personlatiy, except for the one that the fans has created - which would just make it harder to please the fans if they ever created one. |

I really hope that the TV-series will be much better than the OVA was. If that's the case I'll watch it~ |
