Shot is from the intro of the first episode 5. Franchise is 140ep (4 series) + 2 movies + 1 ova + 3 specials + 50ep spin-off 6. Most recent installment aired in 2006 (franchise run-time to date is 1987-2006) 7. The director of the core franchise (everything but the spin-off) is the original director of Detective Conan - the first 9 seasons |

| Looks like City Hunter to me... I mean, Hojo has a fairly obvious style. (Did not need any of those hints) And since I am 99% sure I got it right (I mean, it does seem pretty obvious to me), I will post one to revive this dead thread. Hints (Since I doubt this is easy for most newer anime fans) 1. It is an 80s anime. 2. It ain't on my List, so don't bother trying to figure it out that way. 3. However, it was actually a pretty prominent series in the early 80s, I am not going for obscure. If nothing else, his green hair is a dead give away. 4. The main Character's name is the same as a 17th Century Philosopher known as the Father of Classical Liberalism. |
