I watched the anime before reading the manga, so my score might be higher than most in this thread. The art and animation wasn't anything special but otherwise I liked it. 8/10.

Yeah, Chihiro is just a bunch of speedsubbing idiots anyway.

Episode was alright, the animation was better than in the past episodes but overall this was quite disappointing. 7/10

oooh Zero biting Kaname was totally hot... too bad they didn't do any closeup or better sexier angles xP but the sweet dream not ended...

anyway, avg. series... 7 thanks for the load of eye candies... otherwise I'd prolly rate it 5-6....

The ending of this season seemed too plain... I expected it to be better, oh well now on to waiting for season 2 hopefully it gets better

Hell yeah. I especially agree with Yuuki part. But, then, they drew her so ugly in anime, I'd probably hate her too, if I didn't read the manga.

All in all... I agree with most of the people => 7/10.

aww episode 13 was the last one to season one arrghhh now have to wait till october which is like 3 months i think hmm i think for now gonna watch other animes i never really finished >__<

Hum, average ending I guess just like the series. And I read some parts of the manga too, it seemed pretty close to the anime to me, not really better. Well, I guess I'm not in the target fo this title so I shouldn't bother...

Meh... I was expecting a little more from the final episode of this season (and of the anime itself, of course)... It didn't seem like a season ending in any ways

I just hope the second season to be better :P

Well this series was a bit disappointing but it did make me want to read the manga to see where all this is heading... plus I keep hearing it is way better. Hopfully the next season is better.

A sub par ending to a distinctly sub par anime.

Ive actually ended up downgrading this from a 7 to a 5 on my list, largely because this was initially a really intriguing anime thats degraded into melodramatic fluff.

I did start the manga however and may well continue with it, because, like Firefox above me im intrigued by the amount of hype it gets..

I personally like it. i think that it is not the best anime i have ever watched . it's good

i think that by this episode vampire knight is really angsty and it made me deppresed...

A satisfying ending for this first season. Going to give this show an 8/10.

The ending was decent but the rest of the ep felt like it was lacking something. I thought the first season was pretty good. It could have been better but whatever, it was still a great vampire series.

As for the graphics, I had no problems with them in any of the other eps. In fact I even made a post in the episode 12 discussion on how people are blowing it way out of proportion. I have to say, this episode, graphics wise was bad. I don't know if it was the raw Shoku-dan used or what but it was noticeably worse then any of the other episodes.
