I really do hope the second season comes out soon - gotta love Tiger & Bunny. I can't wait! :D

No dates have been announced yet? Dx

its like baccano making a ova to see if people want more its really obvious people are dying for more

Baccano: 3,389 per disc (original release), 2,519 BD box (2011 rerelease)
Tiger & Bunny: 25,815 per disc after 6 of 9 volumes

The two situations are really not similar. I'm not sure why it's considered "obvious" with Baccano. Western fans dramatically overstate (or engage in wishful thinking about) Baccano's popularity in Japan. It did okay - and I only put it that high because the BD box sold a bit better than you'd expect for a 3.4k seller, but even that is probably mostly riding Drrr's popularity - but it's not even remotely at T&B's level of success. And before anyone shits their pants about me talking down a show, I like Baccano well enough, so don't go there.
it did ok at first, its a huge show in both japan and america now, it just took time for people to give it a shot,

? I'd really like to know what you're basing this on. If it were "huge" now the recently released BD box would have sold a lot more than it did. It did okay, but not huge, not even "big". Just... decently relative to its initial sales.

You can't just say a show is "huge" without any basis. Simply saying it doesn't make it true. Meanwhile, sales don't lie.

Personally it heartens me to see females be so totally invested in an anime that never became pandering or inclusive to them. Sunrise certainly spun the fujoshi angle once they figured out what a hit it was, but never to the point where it became fangirl bait. It's a solid show that just happens to have a substantial female fanbase. It's just one of those things that happens. I think that's really cool myself.

YAY!!!
I'm really excited for this, after reading about the unlikelihood of other shows I watched being continued... I need closure. I need more huge 3D bananas.

Now I think that only with the tv series is good. Now this has a musical, one or two movies and now they want to make a second season?

Honestly, This anime is Ok with only one season.
