Haki in OP, Chakra and Murderous Intent in Naruto, Spiritual Energy in Bleach, Innocence and Dark Matter in DGM, Soul Strength and Madness in Soul Eater... really, it reminds me of many things ^_^;

i loved this episode! but is it just me or does Nura act clumsier now? and he kind of seems weak too. i just hope his training pays off.

You are used to seeing Rikuo show off whenever he notices that he is in his Night Form so he often looked more cool and strong than he really was :P

yeah I mean he's THIRTEEN. cant compare to his grand dad who's over 400 years old. even during the kyoto arc he was 100+ for sure. and he IS a spoiled kid. the entire household spoiled him and he's not weak exactly, just that he doesnt know much about the ways of the yokai world and his own potential. aint I right Nayrael?

This ep was lots of fun. I think this is where night Rikuo starts to become a real character, rather than just showing up, doing something cool and disappearing again. Hehe, I love him but he's such a brat, being dumped on his arse a few times can only do him good.

I like the way Hidemoto and Itaku have turned out in the last couple of episodes, they were my favourite characters from this arc in the manga, so I'm glad I can enjoy seeing them here.


I agree with you about the music, even though I liked the way the music was used in the first series. Especially in the previous episode, when Yura was fighting Ryuuji, the music seemed such a mismatch it was quite distracting. Otherwise though, this series is miles better than the first.

Were those namahage? XD They were looking for bad kids... LOL

Another Yuki-Onna, at least she looks different from Setsura and Tsurara. And the young Zashiki-Warashi, Yukari reminded me of the other Zashiki-Warashi in xxxHOLiC.

That episode felt extremely off. This season has been great, but this episode felt like it went in the direction. Riko was a bad ass a couple of episodes ago, and now he's... wtf? lol I understand if grandpa hands it to him but then he gets slapped around by the low leveled demons as well.

Tonoo youkai are powerful, that's all I have to say.

since he doesn't know what kind of youkai he is for now,he is weak compared to those that know their fear and power.
also he may be bad ass but he is still a child that is spoiled too much by his gang.the whole point of laundry scene was to show this.

Definitely an improvement over the last episode, looks promising.
