| nice episode,although why they chose to put flashback episode here after ep 7 ended on a cliffhanger i'll never know. interesting back story nonetheless |

| well the part about the monk kid was all original content. It was not in the manga. Next episode looks like more original content mixed in with manga chapters. I wonder if their gonna just pull a claymore and end it differently. In any case this episode was great. They added a lot of info that was only briefly touched on in the manga. Like Kuchiha's grandfather passing on the wolf god to Kuchiha and Shamon taking her in. I'm happy they made it more clear. That was one thing I dont like about the manga, they do these 3 cell flash backs that you can never really figure out the full background story on. |

| I really enjoyed this episode. Kuchiha is a great character and the little bit of her background info was great; although, I felt really bad for her especially when she came out to try and thank the villagers for the food and they slapped her. But still overall very enjoyable. |

| This episode was kind of boring to me. Some of flashbacks seemed kind of pointless to the storyline, but then again maybe they'll be important later on. The background on Kuchiha was pretty interesting though. She's been saying this whole time about how bad she's use to being treated so it was nice to see exactly how bad some people treated her. |

| I usually don't like flashback episodes that much but this one didn't bother me. It gave background story of a bunch of characters. |
