I didn't cry. It felt too melodramatic.

CRY LAUGH CRY CRY

Some earlier eps were good, but this could've been much better.

It takes a lot for me to cry in anime, and the last scene didn't do it for me. If anything, it felt really really really sad for me.

Anyone that doesn't have the emotional maturity of a 9 year old girl?
(same goes for people that cried during Clannaids)

You created an account for this?

If you had any passion you would do something productive instead of wathing something lame like Anohana.

I didnt cry at all in this series to be honest, maybe i would have if i watched it alone. but i watched it a with a group of friends every week as it aired and i would not want to cry in front of a group of ppl you know? lol

The show was real sad, dont get me wrong and incredible. The best of its season IMO (excluding series that continued into summer 2011 aka steins;gate and nichijou). Other than that hey it was extremely entertaining being the slice of life/romance/tragedy fanboy that I am. :D

I've only cried with an anime once. The end of ef - a tale of melodies.
Don't mistake me, I loved the end, but... I wanted some couples. Too much romance at the beginning and we got no couples at the end.

Well I guess it's just me because the only anime that made me shed manly tears was Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

it did make me cry but it didnt feel as heartbreaking and moving as i did with the only other 2 shows ive cried in, tokyo magnitude and clannad after story(this show multiple times)

so yah, while i likedthe show it didnt seem to hit me veyr hard emotionally even though i did cry, and to be honest, i was trying to force myself to cry, i kinda got tired of only having 2 animes ive cried on,

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

i was pouring on the last episode. maybe it's cause i could REALLY relate to this anime, and the way that it so accurately described some parts of my life

No tears here either. It was a pretty sad show but it takes more than that for me...It was known from the start that she was going to disappear. When a scene is sad enough to make me cry its usually because it was really unexpected or I was really holding out that it wouldn't happen. The shock of it shakes me up a bit and acts as a catalyst. But when I know its coming, I don't let myself become emotionally attached enough to shed any tears.
