| Well, I wondered if the remake would start from scratch, considering that they don't do 100% handmade animation anymore. It would be hard to match the look of the original. But the original was pretty faithful to the manga, from what I remember. It's not like remaking Fullmetal Alchemist. |
| WHY? WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE SEIYUU CAST??? Sorry for nagging, but here I goes.... I don't like the voice actors, especially for Killua... And I bet we can't hear the kind of 'gay' voice of Hisoka anymore... Look at the new character design: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2011/08/18/character-design-preview-for-new-hunter-x-hunter-anime For the original anime series, the character design and quality all improves as the anime continues, and they also look (grow) 'older'/less kiddy as it's continues. But this new character design for Killua, Gon and Kurapika are even kiddier than the start of original anime D< Killua will never smile like in the 2nd photo OTL Plus the design look 'flat'. Hisoka look so skinny that it's kind of disgusting, and his hair color should be really dark orange, not hot pink D: The feel when watching this new series will be different now. I am a super H x H fan >< Sorry for letting you guys see my nagging. |

| It's clear this will suck. I can ignore the change in the excellent seiyuus and composers of the first one, I can even ignore the Disney style, but they're clearly taking the kiddie side thanks to you know who and already made Hisoka uninteresting. I can already see this remake bombing and any chance of getting Chimera ant arc animated buried for another 10 years. |
| I'm a bit sad that Kurapika (my FAAAVE character) is being voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki. Every time I hear her, I think of Lag Seeing...and lots of accompanying waterworks (-__-;) |
