hmmm interesting start... pretty unique concept... Light seems like a real head case... fun!

I first started watching this anime by accident. I watched the first 7 minutes of the first episode and realized that I was actually captivated and very intrigued in watching this. The concept was incredible and I loved the suspense and anticipation of what was going to happen next. Great beginning to an anime :)

wow. that was technically one of the best anime episodes I've ever seen 8D It's like watching a Zhang Yimou film... but noir...

just... kyaaa~~ I'm captivated xD having read the manga first I never thought that the anime would do this well with the adaptation, but if it continues in this vein it will thoroughly deserve its popularity in my eyes

Awesome start. I really thought it was good and clever.

That was a pretty good first episode. Not boring or confusing, at all. I really think Light took to that Death Note a little too quickly though. But hell after realizing your fate is already sealed, why not go full speed ahead.

This gonna be an interesting anime. Luved the first episode.

i think i liked it i only watched the first episode but i saw one once with L Lawliet and he is SOOO HOTTT i think him and Light make a coute couple though

All my friends said that i had to see Death Note, i even had it on my computer for like 3 months, but i was saying to myself not to believe them and don't get high expectations.
But now, if it continues like that, then i sure will put it as 1st favorite!!!

Mmmm the animation was wierd to me... Too dark to be likable... but it really needs thou... hahahah I liked the Shingami's World... it's even more lively than in the manga... Ryuk looks funny... but it's an amazingly stunning animated view... Light's ambition is frightening... And lol at Ryuk devouring the apples hahahaha... Nice anime

Very intriguing. I loved the concept, and the DeathGod. He's hilarious, and I cant wait to find out more about him. I like it so far.

i just started to watch this series.. hmm.. playing god eh?

taking the law into your own hands? :/ sounds wrong for some reason.
but hell i guess its not entirely messed up since he's only going after criminals.

yagami light.
sounds like his name contradicts itself.
yagami means darkness and then light.
it also sounds funny if spelled backwards.

just wanted to watched one ep before i sleep but think i going to be pulling a all niter now...

Great series, Light is annoying but L is awesome!
Light reminds of Lelouch but no where as cool
