Question - When should we expect a response to our submission? :)

I always sort of wanted to do manga mod but I'm just not around MAL as much anymore.

Good luck finding new moderators though! I love seeing the MAL manga database grow :) Even if I don't visit MAL as much it's the first place I go to look up a new series.

Today is the last day, amirite? :U Yeah, I rather both you guys from my over-addiction of finding the twitter accounts of mangakas and adding them to their to the MAL page (and if their account is empty, I'll monstrously add their works to even bother you guys more).

I'll accept submissions up to 23:59 PST time today (so approximately 24 hours from now).

All applicants should receive some response within the next week. Chosen applicants will be named some time after that.

Oh, it seems I'm late to read this...

And the assignment to add a new manga entry is not exactly easy for any suitable mod.

I miss my time in Japan when I could enter any bookstore, pick up a manga, and be assured that it's not on MAL's DB.

It is ridiculously easy to find manga that are not in the database (so easy, in fact, that it makes reading recently scanlated manga irritating, because half the time I have to add it to MAL myself). The requirement was probably meant to weed out people who don't have the necessary skillset to be manga moderators.

Yep we were talking about that in the previous page.. it's actually easy if you know which websites to go too hahah xD

Anyways, I guess responses are still being sent out? Since I haven't received one for my message yet. :)

Kineta had/has some internet issues, so there might be some slight delays. Probably only a few days but don't hold me to that.

No, no there has been a bit of issue with Kineta's internet we are working on it but haven't started to make any decisions yet.
