Judging by the clothes, I think the red headed lady from the OP shoved red heels girl down the escalator! Though for a second I thought it was Ringo trying to fulfill destiny again or something. That'd be too creepy though, wouldn't it. Hahahahaha.

Anyhoo, I hope we get some more Survival Strategy!!! next episode~ And more Kanba would be nice too.

This episode was made of win and was a testament to Ikuhara's knack for comedy. And it made me LOL how he took the penguins' pervert-ness to the next level - what's with them inside waitresses' skirts and looking up girls' skirts using mirrors XD I also noticed that the skunk has a penguin face mark on his stomach, is it connected to the Penguin Hat?

Like I suspected from her evil look in the OP, Yuri hides beneath her ladylike front a manipulative and cold personality; I couldn't help but feel sorry for Ringo when she confronted her with the curry and that Tabuki had thought she was the one that made it and praised her for it - ouch. Though, it could be divine retribution for Ringo for the way she treated Shouma throughout the episode. I also find it intersting that crows were used as a symbol for Tabuki in the OP and in this episode, a bunch of crows foiled Ringo's plan to have lunch with him.

So, Masako finally makes her appearance. She wants to crush Kanba and it wil be 'according to plan'. It seems she's the Penguin Hat's antagonist. I wonder whether Ringo is working with her, or if she's oblivious to her existense and the power that her diary holds. Does she know the girl in red shoes-a classmate perhaps?-and her death is necessary for her and Tabuki to end up together?

Lol. I loved the part which the penguin got that fish instead of her!!!

Also, NO RINGOXSHOMA!!!!! Ringo was a total b***h in this episode. I was kinda of happy when Yuri told her off.

Pretty funny episode until the very last part of course.

Ringo is a crazy bitch. Who knew that the innocent looking girl in the opening could be so crazy? She's willing to drown herself to get the guy she wants. That's a bit extreme. Though I had to feel sorry for her when Yuri showed her ugly side to her and her only. Who else saw that coming?

I think now it's pretty obvious that Ringo's journal has some power to it. Everything that's written tends to happen on time, even if it doesn't come out the way she wants it. And at the end with " Destiny"

As for the girl with the red heels at the end, I believe that it is Natsume Masako (http://myanimelist.net/character/44218/Masako_Natsume) who pushed her down the escalator for these reasons:
1. The hands clearly belonged to a female.
2. The sleeve design matches her's.

Something tells me she's going to show up in the plot very soon.

I have to wonder, do you think Ringo cheats and reads ahead, "learning" about the far future? Also, what are the odds that there are more than one Penguindrum? I think it's possible for that other chick to have had one as well, maybe.

That was the funniest part imo.

I ROFL'd at the penguin that made it look like he was trying to save Ringo, but instead took the fish and swam off.

Shadowed CPR scene didn't really fool me. I somehow had this feeling it wasn't gonna turn out as Ringo wanted with Tabuki, but good for her she didn't know who actually gave her the mouth to mouth. Ignorance must be such Bliss.

And no I don't want Shouma X Ringo either.I'd really love it if the series ends with him and Kanba in Himari's Reverse Harem.

a Deathnote or Mirai Niki reference perhaps?
Oh my my! That is one of my favorites for this series. Who knew she may be a murderer. My CSI instincts tell me it looks like sheer jealousy or revenge for something.

So i saw the girl who pushed Kanba's ex had black stocking wich expect for redhair we saw only in OP until now on one wears. Also like someone mentioned, those sleeves.
But man, now i feel like watching moar of it... D:

Sadly, no matter how brilliant this series is, and has made brilliant use of the Takarazuka theater in this episode, not just for comedy purposes, but also character development and show us more of their mind. It's not for everyone.

Not just because many do not understand what is being done, they simply not have patience.

My bet: Ringo is being manipulated by someone through the dairy.

Oh she died......maybe. She could've also just gone into a coma or something. That was probably Ringo.

This show is truly something else.

Wow, I hate Ringo even more than I did before. Poor Sho-chan. He's such a sweet guy and she's being such a bitch to him.

I'm pretty it wasn't Kanba who pushed the girl with red shoes down the escalator. The perpetrator had pretty feminine legs. And the exact same stockings as Masako too.

The plot thickens Dun dun dun.
But there weren't any Penguin queen this time.
I'm officially loving this anime :)

Even more questions are raised by the end of the episode, but it appears (for now) that the diary might be a red herring. Who knows, what with the director's knack for trolling. Anyway, no Survival Strategy this week, which made me a rather sad man, but at least the fantasies had interesting lyrics. Good episode as always.

I love what goes on in Ringo's head. The old shoujo manga facial expressions/style are fun too.

And Kanba's penguin doing upskirt peeks at Kanba's "victims".. haha, they really reflect the underlying behavior/thoughts of their paired humans.
