Windows != PC. The current Macs are technically PCs by hardware, but the OS and firmware are locked down to apple's specifications. UNIX and GNU/Linux run on multiple platforms and are obviously on "PC" as well. They all run on x86 and x86_64 architecture / hardware. x86 = PC by the commoners' definition (which is off too because in reality Personal Computer is a somewhat vague term) TL;DR Replace PC with Windows for accuracy. |
