I hope that Tsurara doesn't fail in love like her mother.

great episode!may someone tell me which chapter this episode covered?

I always thought that Nurarihyon had to marry is because he was curse by Hagoromo Gitsune but even if that wasn't the case they make a lovely couple( if not Setsura could fill the role lol)

Youhime is kinda cute, i usually dislike fragile useless girls, but she is very cute~~

Setsura was AWESOME. i mean, she always had her serious face, then suddenly has a tsundere moment. Awesome. i feel a bit sorry for her, being in love with a guy she can never have.
Too bad Nurarihyon only looks at her as a best friend. im very glad to see that Rikuo doesnt ignore Tsurara like his grandpa did sometimes with Setsura XD

Cant wait for more, this season is being awesome unlike the first one

Loved this ep but one thing bothered me didnt in the first season during the flashback when gyuki did the sake ceramony didnt nararihyon already have the yokai wolf muffler?

That was a pretty epic episode. I wasn't expecting much from that last preview but derp. This seemed like a pretty gory episode though, what with the liver and the ribs and all that. I'm surprised that they managed to keep the pg-13 rating but I don't mind. xD

Again with the cliffhangers though. xD I'll be looking forward to the next episode.

poor yuki onna, coming in second place to humans for generations

The direction is absolutely atrocious, one of the worst among all the animes of the season. Still, the flashback is interesting overall.

What's wrong with it?

The director's an amateur but he's doing a nice job IMO.

An episode of the past seems not in sync with the previous episodes, that is there wasn't anything leading into this one if I remember correctly. That being said I loved it! I really like the back story, it's more mature and a bit darker. This whole second season is for that matter and I like it a lot.

Anyone know why there is such a contrast in Yuki-Onna's character? the past vs. the present--I figure she is the same yuki-onna but the personalities are vastly different.

and what's with the setsuna - pervert scene. i dont get it, what's so perverted about using someone's first name. and i dont see why she minds, she seem to be the one driven by lust

btw, where is tsurara's mother anyway.

because they're not the same person. the woman in the flashback is setsura and in the current timeline its tsurara. setsura is tsurara's mother :)

Loved the flashback and the little romance between the Yohime and Nurarihyon but
I hope there's no going to be history repeat in Tsurara's case just like her grandmother and mother, I want her to end up with Rikuo no matter what >//< .

The Yuki Onna from Nurarihyon's time is Setsura.
The Yuki Onna from Rikuo's time is Tsurara, daughter of Setsura.



In Japan, using someone's first name, especially without honorifics, is reserved for people closest to you... and she overreacted to that fact...
Tough the Anime probably should have removed that line of dialogue as the Mangaka changed it, in recent chapters, so that everyone calls her Setsura now ^_^;

I didn't like the romance thing with the Inoue Orihime.

The best part was when the two yokai killed her father.

It was quite scary. lol Crushed her father with the gold
and it was soo gory. I've seen rib bones and meat crushed.

Setsura got jealous xD
