I didn't mind the ending except it feels unfinished. Maybe they are planning for a season 2. I just hope chapter 100 is translated soon...it's been more than a month already!  |

It all went downhill after changing from cases to battling. I liked the oneshot more. |

I couldn't agree more guys. I was very disappointed by the lame ending. I liked it a lot but it I'd say it felt very rushed at the end and they could have done a lot more with the heaven side of the manga world.  |

I did read it just now, i'm expected it to be like this sadly. Devense Devil had great Potential and ruined it by first turning it into a battle manga, then having retarded plot twists even for such a manga. |

oh god... I didnt expect much but this kind of ending is just .... cant express in words... worse than lame... 7/10. I was going to give it 8, it was amusing. well, sorry mangaka_san :( |

The mangaka can do way better. 6/10. Was a 9 before but this shit just hit the fan in the worst possible way in the last ten chapters.  |

Disappointed... The first half was great before the battle started with demons and angels and it plummeted down to this.... It has potential... 8/10 for me... I can't ignore the fact that I cried with the first chapters of this manga when he was still a defense devil... Sigh! Too bad..  |

It was nice as a battle manga, but it could have turned into an excellent work if Kucabara had remained as a... well, "defense devil", as the title suggests. But that's not the reason why I gave it a 6/10, no. This was one of the worst endings someone could come up with: rushed and devoid of emotion. I kept a poker face during these past chapters (and I read them at once), which is a real shame. In my opinion, the most safe and interesting development for this kind of series is exactly what Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai does, mixing the greater plot with episodic arcs. Anyway, I'll check out Shin Angyo Onshi, since the author is probably more capable than what he showed on Defense Devil. |

wow, so many negative comments to the ending? It's true that it was rushed, and not much was cleared up in the end, but you can guess very well what the author wanted to tell in the end. I loved every chapter, it's been a long time since I've read such a good manga like Defense Devil. |
