| Nice chapter, so many great memories from part 4 :D Nails, Mona Lisa, severed woman's hand under the portrait. It looks like our "Kira" is not really Kira, but mistakingly took this name because both he and the real Kira bought the same hat at the shop, and they look alike. And now "Josuke" is at Kira's place, trapped in a flat of a rapist with BDSM fetish. I guess Kira is in the photo, too, not our "Josuke" |

| Welp, this is clearly Kira Yoshikage's home alright. Like the parallels between this and part 4, though I wonder about those bondage photos. There was something like a severed hand near the Mona Lisa painting, so I'm not sure if his M.O. is still the same as in Part 4. The weirdest part is the protagonist being on one of the photos. It looks like the owner of this place looks exactly like him. The person upstairs doing loud noises is creepy as fuck btw. and this stand ability seems to work by inflicting wounds. I guess he's taking out limbs by inflicting little wounds? That would explain those slippers, it's all a trap. |
| I had known about the Kira/Josuke stuff with the MC in very broad details, was not expecting Araki to immediately delve into how similar Kira is here to the Part 4 counterpart. Actually seems worse than the Part 4 counterpart, with the photo album stuff. But from the Mona Lisa, severed hands, nail clippings, etc. just dive straight into it. Makes sense, readers would likely already be familiar, confirming it right after is the best course of action. |

| Wow I'm shocked at how positively I'm in love with this part so soon after the slow-burn that was SBR. The mystery and amount we don't know is immense and makes this part so intriguing right from the onset. How does this joestar over 100 years later across the world relate back to Johnny in the 1800s? Is this character a joestar or was his pre-amnesia identity actually kira? And on top of these fundamental mysteries, the first stand altercation flows in seamlessly out of nowhere, kira is still fucked up, and I am absolutely hooked. |
